Disney is my happy place. 
Having said that, I'm not a very good traveler. I like to know what to expect up front; otherwise, I can get pretty anxious. I tend to stick to what's familiar, so chances are very good I'll never get around much in my lifetime. That's fine with me!
Just tell them to MTOB---unless they're forking over the cash for you to go somewhere else, they have no say. And even if they did fork over the cash, they'd still have no say. Either way, you win.
