Thanks the nemo set is one of my favorites.

SO we leave in a week and i have so much to do but thankfully a lot of it is already cut out. Want to see my list

this first one is for my kids:

1. C pillowcase
2. C Star Wars Dress
3. J Stitch Tiki Set
4. Cars Set
5. Surf Mickey

My other list of things that must get done (the launch sets must be done today since the launch is Tuesday)

1. Bambi Launch Dress
2. Monsters Inc Dress
3. Star Wars Launch Set

So isn't that a nice list. Hoping to get a bunch of it done today and then work slowly during the week.

Having a fight with the Disney Web site, I have been trying to check in and leave a CC on file and it won't let me. I finally checked in with out the CC so I am going to try and call them today.

Also here is somehting I fininshed last week and the family received it so I can share.

So I didn't get as much done as I wanted but finished 4 appliques and am 99 % done with the MOnsters Inc dress. Going to try and cut out the Bambi launch set tonight and the shorts for the Star Wars Set tonight. Once I finish those 2 things everything else will go quickly I think.

I also cleaned part of my basement for the construction that needs to get done.

Just reading your list make me dizzy. I know you will be able to get everything done. Your Bambi dress has me intrigued....can't wait to see all of your creations.

I love the pillowcases too, especially the Stitch/Star Wars one. Those will be a great keepsake from their trip.

So I actually finished quite a bit yesterday considering the cleaning i did for the construction.

the contractor is coming this afternoon to see what needs to be done and since he is a friend of my Dad's he will move anything I don't get to. But I will be bringing in 2 of my machines for service this week so 3 machines will migrate to the dining room table

I will have pictures this afternoon or tomorrow just need to finish my launch sets. I am loving how they are coming out.

I am also going to try and finish one of Js outfits since all the shorts are cut out and just need to do the shirt

Need to give you a Mommy brag about my kiddos. Last week I had Js IEP meeting and he is communicating at School with a PECS board. He has come so far. J also has learned how to put on his own shoes and socks.

C is doing awesome in everything but Spanish and I am not going to stress over it. The best news we received is she is most likely getting a 100 on her report card in English because they gave a benchmark test for the state testing and Miss C scored a 93 but everyone received 10 points (I guess a lot of kids didn't do as well) so C wound up with a 103 on this test. Also she had a super hard math test where more than 2/3 of the class failed and while she didn't get a stellar grade she did pass. So she has taken it upon herself to go to tutoring once a week for Math. I am proud of her for doing that.

Well the contractor is starting on Thursday morning so it is going to be a couple of long nights while G is at work so I can get ready. I am going to try and do all my appliques and then move my Embroidery machine, sewing machine and serger to the dining room table.

I am taking my Duetta and the spare 770 that I think I am going to sell in for service tomorrow or Thursday so they are out of the way.

I am also going to bribe C with a cash reward to help me get all the fabric on the shelves so they can be covered up.

So I figure I will share what I have been working on the past few days.

I have to finish my boy set that is all cut out this afternoon after C gets home since J isn't feeling the best and is a little clingy.

So we are in full on construction mode here, Cs room is totally framed and sheetrocked I believe. We decided which way to have the door swing. I think they are working on the ceiling today.

C and I have figured out the furniture for her room we are going to go to IKEA and pick it up when we get back from Florida.

I still have sewing to do for FL which I will do tonight and tomorrow. I had to cut out one of Js outfits because as I was trimming the applique I noticed the fabric didn't catch the way it was supposed to. It is okay though because we bought him a bunch of new clothes last week.

Here is the list of what we have to finish.

1. Cs pillow case
2. Cs Star Wars Dress
3. Js Cars set
4. Js. Surfer Mickey set.

Everything is completely cut out except the Star Wars Dress. Also need to do appliques for the Cars set (I am doing a simple Mickey head with coordinating material for that) also Cs pillowcase needs Vanellope and the date of the trip on it.

I will take some pictures tomorrow of it in progress. She is super excited, we are looking at furniture right now. It will be done by the time we get home and I am so happy. I need to get her moved down stairs so we can put a fresh coat of paint on her bedroom for the baby.

I am looking forward to going away.

That is such a bummer about the fabric... I do almost all of my fabric shopping online, but as a rule, I only buy reputable fabrics that way... Michael Miller, Riley Blake, Moda... That way I know I am going to get the quality I want. Sometimes it's hard though, because you see something that will work perfectly for a project, and when you get it, it's barely usable. So, hopefully you are able to find something better for the shorts when you get home.

I am such a fabric snob that I only buy high quality fabrics, even if I am in Joanns I am in the premium quilting section not the 5.99 wall . I loved the fabric and the colors but am sad with how they came out.

The kids are still sleeping so I think I am going to go and finish sewing so I can be done. I still need to pack for tomorrow for J,C and myself I am easy though since I don't have many clothes.

Well we are here. Yesterday was a long travel day. It started with us arriving At Laguardia at 7:15 for our 9:40 flight. We wanted to see if we could park I the long term lot, we were doubtful but wedding find a spot. We then made our way over to the main terminal and dropped our bags off at Spirit Airlines (or first time flying them).

We breezed thru airport security there was no line, made our way to the gate where we then proceeded to havedunkin donuts for breakfast again no line. This was totally surreal, no lines in Ny. Our flight from NY to Detroit was uneventful. We arrived in Detroit and had a pretty long layover so we headed to TGIFridays for lunch. We ordered and then poor J was sick. G had the honor of cleaning him up. J then proceeded to eat everything on his plate. I had noticed in LaGuardia he seemed pale but he wasn't warm or anything.

We the boarded our second flight I paid extra to sit in the extra large seats for this flight and was glad I did I was much more comfortable and J slept the entire flight. My only problem with this flight was the grandmother flying with her grandson talking about plane crashes behind me.

When we arrived in Florida we proceeded to the magical express and boarded the bus right away. We arrived at the hotel about 6:15, checked in, picked up our stroller and headed to the room. our room here at the Boardwalk is quite nice we have a 2bedroom villa which here is a studio and 1 bedroom combined.

We called bell services to have our groceries and owners lockers delivered and here was the only snag of the day. Our grocery order was missing a lot of the items. Well I called garden grocer and the corrected the problem within 90 minutes. Our order was mixed with someone else's.

We headed to bed around 10:30 but J shared our bed and proceeded to snore all night so I am letting everyone sleep today. We are going slow this trip anyway.

Glad you had a good trip... So sorry J was sick - hopefully it's nothing too serious and doesn't affect this trip, I know how much you need it.

That is awesome that GG fixed your order so quickly - your room sounds wonderful too... I hope you'll share lots of pictures with us. And please include pool photos with NO cpks in them.

Ahhh, glad you enjoying the warm Florida weather. Sorry to hear J got sick but good call on the bigger seats. Hope you have been able to get some good sleep too. Sounds like your arrival day was busy.

I finally got to visit your TR on the computer so I could see your latest creations with a decent sized picture. Love your Bambi dress and the Star Wars set is perfect for a Star Wars fan. The Monster's Inc dress is really cute too.
