Diasy is just precious!

We are lucky that Max has always been a good sleeper - for the most part, he sleeps all night long. Although, since we have him gated into the kitchen, he starts barking every morning when the coffee pot starts brewing on it's own. LOL

I am sorry about the howling - she probably misses her momma. Hopefully she adjusts soon, and it won't be an issue.

I find that I get a lot less work done because of Max... my family likes it, because he gets me out of my "sewing hole" once in a while, but then I have a hard time going back. LOL

Congratulations on all the orders! I had a hard time not giving my notice today... They scheduled me for a lot of hours next week, and I just don't know how I am going to do it all. But making these bags isn't a steady income - nor is it enough - so I'll just continue on and hopefully push through the madness.

oh that stinks D. Yeah I think we are going to have to put her in the basement when we can't be with her. She just doesn't stop whining but once you get in the room with her she shuts right up and goes to sleep at your feet.

Sorry to hear that Daisy is having a rough transition. Hopefully it won't last more than a week and then she'll stop whining at night so you can all get some rest.

I am looking at sergers right now because mine is not working right and it will cost me a minimum of $60 to bring it in. I am thinking of getting a JUKI which from every site i am on is getting great reviews.

Today was a little better with Daisy during the Day G said. She was quiet from 9am -12Noon then had a fit and went back to sleep until I came home and let her have the free run of our first floor at 2:15

I hope to have pictures to post later I am going ot play with my new serger.

So today was a big day for Daisy, G gave her a bath. I didn't get any pictures though

Oh and G let Daisy and Miley play together. No pictures again but they really really like each other. I will try to get pictures when I can, but I will only be a visitor in my house the next 2 days.

So I had to buy a new serger today. I test drove a couple and found one I love which makes me happy. I also finally did a lot of sewing I worked on a RTS outfit that I hope I can finish Sunday morning. I need to decide which snow white design I want to do.

I am honestly loving how smooth her stitches are. I also love that if the thread breaks I don't have to rethread the whole thing to make her work again

Thanks D. I use it almost as much as the sewing machine now and I swear the brother was a lemon.

posting this here because I don't want our Dance teacher to feel bad.

This was a dance competition weekend. THis was a new to me dance competition but one the school had participated in a number of times a few years ago. Let me just say what a mess this was.

Yesterday was solo day for Cs age group and our senior member. Halfway through last night we find out there is a goof up with the renting of the theatre and they have to be out by 9:45 not 11. C and the 2 other girls do their numbers and get their awards.

C and I stay and watch Bianca our only performer in the Senior catagory we wanted to show our support. We left about 9:30 after her last number.

As I was leaving I overheard a mom from another school say there is a bigger goof up and they only have the theatre until 5pm on Saturday (we were supposed to be there until 11pm)

I tell our competition director and go home. We get to the competition this morning and that is indeed the case. So we weren't sure if we would be able to get all our team number in. We had 7 different numbers in various categories. Also some of our team members weren't scheduled to be there until after 2pm.

One school up and left and there was no order to this competition and honestly the scoring was very strange.

There was one group who lost their music halfway through and did a stellar job and honestly received a lower than deserved score. I question the judges ability to score after watching over 100 numbers with no breaks.

We did okay and all our numbers were done but it was extremely stressful on our girls and team director who I commend for getting the girls to dance all their numbers.

Oh I do have some Disney news, we are all checked in for our cruise and I was able to score the first boarding time for the ship.

WOW Chiara, am I behind! You're HOME (and obviously have been for a bit), you have a new puppy (we had a dog named Daisy once) AND a new Serger machine!! Lots of fun to catch up on, I just wanted you to know I stopped in and I am excited for you!
