Why Doesn't Tusker House....

have characters at lunch? I have been trying to get ressies FOREVER for breakfast b/c of the characters. I wish they had them for lunch, too!

Oooooh I had no idea!!!! thanks for sharing. We much rather have lunch at Tusker House than have breakfast there, I am glad that they will be adding characters. I wonder if it will be the same characters as breakfast or are they going to have different ones for lunch. Very interesting.

I'm actually sorry to hear that, if it's true. That means the price will go up as well, and maybe the menu, which is a shame, because right now Tusker House is one of the best buffets on property, so hopefully at least the food stays the same. And hopefully dinner will remain characterless for those who want to eat there for the food.

Great news having another lunch option with characters. As my kids age, we wind up having later nights in the Parks, which makes character breakfasts harder to get up in time for. Love Tusker House, great option to have a nice lunch with Donald & friends.

I am so glad we are going BEFORE this happens. Let's take another decent restaurant and raise the prices by adding characters.

Sorry to rain on the parade, but there are enough character meals at Disney already. I liked Tusker for lunch, but will not go for the Donald experience.

I agree and if we can only make it for lunch (dinner will be without characters but when the park closes at 5 or 6 that will leave what, 2 or less hours where they don't have characters?) then we'll be asking to sit away from the characters. I just don't think they really have to turn every single thing into character this and that. Really, they don't. LOL

Not a big fan of character EVERYTHING.

Now to wish and pray and hope desperately that they don't change the menu. That would be very depressing.

When I called to make my ADR for the character lunch the CM said the hours for lunch with the characters is 11am-2:45pm. So as long as you make ADRs after 2:45, you'll be able to avoid them.
I have no idea what the price for the lunch is/was without the characters but the price I was told for adult's at lunch is $27.80. I didn't get a price for "kids" as I don't have any on my ressie.
