Why doesn't Monsieur Paul get more love?

Sorry to be the naysayer, and everyone should judge for themselves, but our meal was worse than mediocre and our server was simply a snob. We understand that dining at Disney is expensive and prepare for it but felt our charge here was ludicrous for the value received. It's one location we agreed we won't try again.
We had a similar experience with respect to food and service. In addition, the server was either unwilling or unable to make any effort to accommodate DW's gluten allergy. Asking to speak to a chef was then treated as an impossibility. Really the only time this has happened at a TS restaurant at WDW.

We had a little trouble with a waiter once, but normally it is a very good experience. We try to ask the server about where they are from and what would be good to visit around their hometown. We have always had great food and wine, not cheap but we normally only go on my birthday. I do try to make sure my shorts and shirt don't have holes in them but I do not dress up.

We like to "freshen up" before having a special, gourmet dinner. So unless we're staying at an Epcot resort, we don't really consider Monsieur Paul. And then if we are staying "Epcot," there are so very many nice choices that it might not get picked!

Their dress code is not that stringent. I could easily have a sun dress on for the day and DH in collared shirt and bermuda shorts, but by dinner time, we need our freshen up. Maybe others feel this way, too, and so Monsieur Paul doesn't get all the love it deserves?

The problem is they have a dress code and I am sorry but in park restaurants should not have a dress code as most people are not going to go to epcot for one evening and most are not going to go back to their resorts to change clothes to go back to the park to eat dinner, I know I would not

I do exactly that every day of WDW vacations, and most vacations, I'm a big fan of long midday breaks with RD and closing down the parks on either side, so its natural to bathe and change clothes after pool/nap time.

That's a nice way to go.
I guess one thing is that Epcot doesn't stay open all that late, so once there, we really go for it -- don't like to leave and come back. Again, unless we're staying at an Epcot resort. But it's great to hear such good feedback on Monsieur Paul and I'm gonna for sure give more thought into how to incorporate it into our touring habits.

I do to Epcot everyday I'm at Disney, and only stay monorail, but most commonly Epcot, so its not such a big deal. I'm not commando, but pretty efficient in terms of "getting things done" so I don't feel like I have to spend a ton of time at one particular park. I can't WAIT to try the new express service at the end of May! You can seriously wear anything in there though, I've seen it! Enjoy!
