Why does UPS squish everything they send me??

I know some of y'all are really digging the brown socks and all but I would REALLY like to get ONE package from them that isn't all squished and damaged.

I send packages for my mom's business through UPS. The packages are two or three sheets of corrugated cardboard taped together with paper stencils sandwiched between. I used to write "Do not bend" on them until someone told me that's just asking for it to get damaged which did happen. They'd be folded in half and the stencils shredded by the time they got where they were going. When I stopped putting warnings on them they stopped getting crushed and folded.

I remember I sent my monitor home, packaged realy well. Well the box came with a HUGE gash it in; very close to the screen.

I don't think I've ever had a UPS package arrive in good condition...it always looks like it's been halfway around the world.
