Why does UG say to avoid MK on Thursday, 11/17?

I would think that Thursday, 11/17 would be great day to go to MK. Both Wed & Friday surrounding that Thursday have MK EMHs....so wouldn't Thursday be a good day to go to MK? I know in the OLD DAYS that Thurs was an early entry day & you were to avoid it, but it has been a long time since then. Any opinions??

most people show up on a sat...they hit the MK on sunday

do the other 3 parks or waterparks mon-tue-wed

then come back to the MK on thurs before the leave on friday

Got Quattro? is correct. Based on the wait time data we've collected this year, that's the pattern.

Edit: Also, it brings up an interesting point: A significant number of folks apparently plan their Disney trips without taking the EMH schedule into consideration. I'm not saying that's good or bad, only that it must happen quite a bit.

Touringplans.com lists MK as a park to avoid on 11/17 also, noting crowd levels that day predicted as 6 (out of 10). Not sure why except that in their unofficial surveys Thursday was the day of choice to visit MK by most respondents. They recommend visiting AK that day.

I'm not sure given that this is after Jersey Week, F&W Festival is over and it's a week before Thanksgiving. We've been many times at this time and crowds have not been bad at any of the parks.
