Why does the disboards server go down at 1am PST?

The odd thing though is that the system always says that "An unexpected database error occurred" when in fact it is routine maintenence.

I'm not familiar with other similar message boards having such regular outages, but I would recommend a more user friendly page that shows that it is intentional (rather than an actual error).
