Why does Sci Fi let me make reservation for 7:15 pm when park closes at 7 pm?

After days of trying, I was finally able to make reservation at Scri Fri for 11/7 at 7:15 pm. According to park schedule, park is supposed to close at 7 pm and according to dining reservation site, dinner reservation is up to 7:30 pm.

Why does restaurants let you make reservation after park closes? Will we be rushed out?

This is my first time making TS reservation and I'm totally confused.

Because Fantasmic is still later those nights. Just be sure to already be in the park to check-in before 7PM.

You will not be rushed out, and the buses will be running long after close.

Why does restaurants let you make reservation after park closes? Will we be rushed out?

They don't turn out the lights and herd everyone out when park hours end. That is when they close the attraction entrances. It is common for Fantasmic to start at or after the end of park hours. It is not unusual for it to take an hour after ride entrances have closed for the standby line to clear. You won't be rushed while you dine. And by the time you're finished, the initial rush for the exits will be over.

But unless there is a private party that night, my bet is that hours will be extended.
