Why does my ressie say "Advanced Payment Received?"

I made a reservation for Kona and when I saw my email confirmation it says
Disney's Polynesian Resort
Advance Payment Received

Does this mean they charged the credit card I used to make my trip reservation? Because its my husbands card and not mine.
