Why Does Disney Charge So Much For Concierge

A few years ago they didn't charge so much. We stayed at the Poly concierge when my youngest was a year old (Jan 2001) and paid $54/extra night for the room. It worked out great for us because there were 6 of us--2 adults, 3 children, and my 1yo "under 3yo freebie". The extra $ was very worth it. I wouldn't pay $150/night more, though. That trip was great because we could all fit in one room, but those days are over. Actually, my oldest is almost grown so we will soon be back down to a family of 5 unless she vacations with us.

We are a family of 5. It is well worth the extra $100 a day to feed us. Breakfast, coffee, bottles of water or soda, evening hot hor'derves that could serve as a meal, wine, beer, drinks included. If you price out those benefits, it makes up the parice for us. Also, to not have to worry about reservations is great for me.
