Why doe Biden keep talking to the Moderator

........................and not the people of the United States. I have to say Palin is doing much better. All of her comments are directly made to either Biden or to the camera, the US people. Biden keeps talking to the moderator, and then keeps giving this stupid grin/smerking kind of laugh when Palin speaks. Not impressed with Biden

That's the format Palin asked for. Also, if he spoke directly to her, anything he said would be called sexist or patronizing. He is doing the right thing....just talk to the camera and she can't accuse him of sexism, etc.

Both have different styles, but both stick to their talking points. Biden is more polished, but the answers are to the line of what they practiced. I like town hall meetings much better. I am undecided and these two haven't done anything to sway me.

Not unlike McCain during the debate with Obama. Obama turned toward McCain and also directed comments directly to the camera. McCain refused to even acknowledge Obama was there.

While she's talking he keeps grinning at someone with a smirk on his face and my personal opinion is that it makes him seem obnoxious.

To say that Palin isn't answering the questions is strange to me. Are we watching the same debate?

Good for her in calling out Biden on that fact that he said he'd be honored to run WITH McCain. Please. I find it so hard to listen to him talking poorly about John McCain knowing that he said that. In other words, he will conform to the views of whomever asked him to run.

Sorry, I can't see this at all. What question HAS she really answered without resorting to the same-old, same-old. Besides, she SAID she wasn't going to answer anything she didn't want to--she said she would just answer something else. Huh? That's not debating.

I find that to be amusing because that is exactly what McCain kept doing during the debate with Obama. He had this smug little smirk every time Obama was speaking. Truly obnoxious.
