My first (and only) Disney resort stay was in the Alligator Bayou section of POR. It was nice, but because it was our first Disney resort we expected a little more (one example, that was our first hotel stay without a closed closet).
We enjoyed the resort, and are planning on returning and (hopefully) being able to stay in the mansion buildings for a different experience.
I've read tons of positive reviews about POR, but I'm curious to know what exactly makes people LOVE POR? I'm hoping to learn some new things about this resort, and possibly some comparisons to others!

We loved POR, even though we didn't take advantage of the amenities like I wanted. We will be staying again in June. We loved the atmosphere, landscaping, theming, Cast Members, pools, rooms, boat to DTD, 2 sinks, and price. It so reminded of us of New Orleans and the South, very relaxing and comfortable.
