Why do you keep coming back to Walt Disney World?

I am sure you have been asked this question. Why do you keep going back to the same place every year on vacation? What is it about WDW, that makes you want to visit it over and over?

I myself like going to WDW, because there is so much to see and do there. I only wish I could visit it more often. WDW has a way of separating us from our money, and somehow we don't mind.

There's something magical about it all. The castle, the mouse, the warm weather, even the rainy afternoons. I can't get enough of all of it and I am always planning a trip.

Share your reasons for revising the world over and over and over again.

For us it is the magic. As corny as it sounds. Something special just happens to our family when we are there.

I agree with Kilee. It's the magic. Everything is perfect. Just seeing the WDW sign we all get goosebumps. And the first time I see Mickey each trip I just get so excited. Even DH is all smiles. :cloud9:

Quality family vacation. The happiness and joy it brings to our DDs faces is enough reason to shell out the bucks year after year. Oh, I really like it too! :goodvibes

This is going to sound funny, but we go back year after year because it's easy! :rotfl: We talk every year about where we want to go on vacation, what we would do, stay, ect... and always come back to WDW. It's great, the hotels are nice, the kids love it, there's so much to do and see, and it's really affordable (compared to similar vacations in Hawaii, Europe...). Where else can you find such value? Unlimited entertainment, great food, great hotels- something that appeals to every age group in one location. :)

The magic!

And it is a vacation I can completely plan to get the most out of....fun, excitement, relaxation, food experiences, and shopping. Plus, the deals...I love travel planning for the deals!

For us it is one of the few places where MJ and I can do almost everything even though we are disabled, we can be almost 'normal' there. I love seeing MJ's excitement.

because its equally fun for everyone

its just as fun for my wife and I as it is for our 5 YO

we go back because it's a great escape from reality and it brings us closer together as a family... it's a place where we can leave the world with all its pressures behind... there's nothing better and more freeing than being asked if i can attend a meeting on "tues the 2nd" and being able to say "nope, i'll be in disneyworld!" LOL!

we love it, our kids love it, and our wallets don't hate it (LOL)... why not go back?!

WOW Gigi1313, this is almost our exact same reason. We are HAPPY there and forget all our troubles. We can BREATHE for a few days. It's so lovely and no one in my extended family understands at all. We are really berated for going to WDW so much.

The main reason I love going back:
I feel like that little boy again. That boy who really
saw something magical about this place when he was there
25+ years ago. My DW sees that come out in me when we are there.
I so can't wait to take my kids there when they are a little older.

35 days left for my DW and I!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely the magic is a big part of it, but I also love how you can do so many different things in one place...everything is right there and you don't HAVE to rent a car, so that is one less thing to hassle with. It's more than just going to another place...it's like a vacation in an "alternate universe" -- a break from reality. I don't know how to word it.

For my 40th birthday I was planning on going to Las Vegas...then I thought...what am I crazy?! What better place to spend a birthday than Disney World?! I actually love Las Vegas and have been there many times too, but I'm so much more excited about going back to WDW than I would have been going to Vegas, I know I made the right choice.

We love WDW and go back b/c it is so magical. I turn into a little princess again and DH turns into a small boy again. My children LOVE it and the magic in their eyes is so priceless. At WDW, you can leave the hustle, bustle, and problems of the real world behind and enjoy the magical world of WDW where dreams really do come true. It is a place where we can bond as a family and just enjoy each other and have fun. It is one of the very few places where childhood is truly what it should be for kids- magical, exciting, and 'clean'. Where else can you shake hands with Buzz Lighyear, eat breakfast with Cinderella, and bounce with Tigger at dinner? We go for the magic and to give our children as much magic as we can!

A magical escape from reality! plus the fact that you don't need to drive anywhere and you can do anything you want! There is so much to do.

Everytime we think of going somewhere else, we end up back at WDW! The only other place we vacation is at the New Jersey beaches, as we live less than an hour away - and we spend the same amount of money as we do for WDW!

We were watching one of our home videos last night getting ourselves pumped up for our next trip, and I got teary eyed as we were walking around the Magic Kingdom.

Me too! I was watching our video from our last trip and we were all sitting and waiting for Spectro to come up the street and my 2 year old nephew caught sight of the first float and started jumping up and down going "It's coming! It's coming!" and I got all teary eyed. What other vacation spot gets you those kinds of memories and emotions?

My dh and I love love love WDW because for us it's the magic and innocence that we really never had as children. We walk into the Magic Kingdom and our troubles melt away and we might as well be 12 and "going together" for the way we act. While we are there, there is no war/deployments to worry about or family squabbles to referee or anything else that could cause our brow to wrinkle in displeasure or frustration. I go to WDW to see my dh's face relax and the grin I fell in love  with come over his face knowing that we are at our home away from home. We love to travel to other places and experience other vacations but we always come back to where we belong. Someday when we are blessed with children my dh and I will share the magic with them and pass the tradition along. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Wow, sounds rather poetic doesn't it? I didn't know that was in me.

1. I love the convenience of The World. Everything is so close versus going to a country or city where you have to drive across town to get to a restaurant or attraction.

2. I love theme parks. The sites, smells, rides, entertainment, and attractions are spectacular. I have been to several theme and amusement parks and WDW is tough to beat.

3. The food at WDW is spectacular. There is such a variety. I believe WDW's food rivals the food in Las Vegas; which is also fantastic.

4. You can pretty much count on the weather at WDW to be top notch. It is not very often when you might run into a week of constant rain and cold.

5. WDW has approximately 21 different themed resorts. Where else can you go and have this variety. The resorts are spectacurely themed. If your a "Theme Junky" like me the resorts are attractions in themselves.

6. WDW has so much to do. I have visited approximately 17 times and I still have not done everything that I would like to do.

I could go on and on, but enough said.

ADP :goodvibes

We go back because we truly feel like we have no care in the world while we're there. It's a nice feeling...to leave all the stress behind us. No other vacation has done that for us. We go there, feel like little kids, and not have to worry about a single thing until we're back home again.
