Cosmic Rays--I agree the chicken is tasty, but the kids thought the giant thing in the center was strange and noisy (what IS that anyway?) and the place had a strange smell when we were there---something like old dirty diapers........so they don't wanna go back.

Sorry! We've only been there once and that was the experience. Could have been an isolated event but they don't want to take any chances! (and the big purple whatever thing in the middle is probably best appreciated by smaller children....or deaf adults. )

Friday, June 29...Magic Kingdom
ToonTown

We figured it was time to go over to ToonTown. Brookie had never been there and we thought she’d get a kick out actually seeing the homes of Mickey, Minnie, and Donald. I wanted to take the “scenic” route to ToonTown. Rob had no clue what I was talking about. I just shook my head at this non-DISer. We needed to backtrack a bit anyway because we left the strollers parked over near the TTA.

Nighttime had fallen and I love that time. There is something a touch more magical with all the lights around. So, we got the strollers and headed to the pathway over to ToonTown.

Our first stop was Donald’s Boat. Rob took the kids in there but they emerged rather quickly. I guess a couple of obnoxious kids were in there with parents nowhere to be found. No big deal. The kids were ready to see what else there was.

Alec all of a sudden remembered about Goofy’s Barnstormer. I warned everyone that there may be a big line there as the last time we were there we waited 30 minutes for a 30-second ride. But when we arrived, we pretty much just walked right up! Our wait was only as long as waiting for the next ride to fill up and go. So much for my warning. And here is a link of the video that I attempted to take of the ride. I rode alone. Evan and Alec rode in front of me and Rob and Brookie behind me. I thought I would be cool and aim my camera backwards to I could get Brookie’s reaction of the ride. Well, brilliant DM was definitely not taking into consideration that it was dark outside. But, watch the quick video anyway. You can see Brookie at the end of it ...

Goofy's Barnstormer at Night​

After Goofy’s we all needed a pit stop. I won’t go into details there. Let’s just say everything came out okay.

Then, we went over to Minnie’s house. Let me tell you about her house ... she lets in the most wildest kids ever, mine included! This was the first time we went into Minnie’s home and it really was pretty neat. Brookie enjoyed doing a bit of sewing.

I checked Minnie’s message board to see if anyone left me a message that I won a Dream but nope. Oh well.

When we got into Minnie’s kitchen, that is where all heck broke loose. Kids here, kids there, kids EVERYWHERE! Brookie found the microwave and thought that was great until Evan wanted to try it just once ...

And I got it on videotape. My lovely girl have a hissy fit.

After Minnie’s we headed over to the Hall of Fame but the lines were done for the night. I checked my cell phone at this time and noticed a message. So, I told Rob to take the kids in the gift shop whilst I checked my voice mail. It turned out to be Sarah (tnmomof4). She was at Chef Mickey’s with her boys and would be coming over to the MK afterward. So, I called her back and she said they were walking over from the Contemporary right now but they were going to be staying on Main Street for Wishes. Now to backtrack a bit. Sarah and I had been playing “tag” in phone calls and meeting up. I had Felicia, from the DISboard Croc exchange. This was our last attempt to meet up and exchange the Croc. We ended our phone call by Sarah telling me that she would call me after Wishes was down and we could meet up then. Sounded like a good plan, right?

See where it says "Tomorrowland Arcade" ? That's where I toss my beer over the fence. It's the perfect spot. On the other side of the fence is just a brief walk to the north from the CR parking lot.

Oh, and I park the rental car in the CR parking lot all the time also. I know, I know... Bad Buzz! irate:

Right now we just get on where we get on. But I'm one of those people who like the front. I did that for RnRC and it was great!
