Thank you all for your well wishes! Well, all of you 'cept Buzz who doesn't feel well himself :rolleyes1 . I do feel a better today. Still a bit tired but I took a shower! I was a "scuzzo" yesterday. Last night I worked on my update and I will get it out today.

I did manage to get caught up on some of yours' TRs. I'll be trying to catch up on the rest today, tomorrow, and maybe even the next day. Rob occupies my Wednesdays. So, coming up soon .. an update!

Italy is one of my favorite World Showcase countries. I love Italian architecture. I love Italian men ... well, at least 3 of them. I love good old Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin singing their great hits. Take away Frankie and Deano and there we were in Italy.

One of the first things we saw were some Showcase Players. It was some sort of scene from Romeo & Juliet with the Montegues and Capulets. We stood around for a few minutes watching and then made our way into square. Remember, we were in search for Kidcot stations. “We” being said loosely. We found the station and Rob stood in line to get the stamps with the kids whilst I sat at a small table to see if I could spot any lookers. And I didn’t. Not in the least.

Wait a minute ... could this be a cute Italian guy?
P1000962.jpg

Let’s zoom in closer to have a looky see ...
P1000963.jpg

That would be a definite no. Oh well. I tried.

The kids returned from getting their stamps and we walked over to the fountain. Yes, you all know which fountain I’m talking about. I know you all probably have a picture of it in your scrapbooks or saved somewhere. If you don’t, well I’m just plain miffed. Notice Evan proudly showing off his mask ... and the mom who's had one too many drinks while she hurls in the fountain. Kidding ... I just made that up. I'm such a funny gal.
P1000964.jpg

... and then without the mask. And there is that blasted binkie in Brookie’s mouth yet again (insert heavy sigh here).
P1000965.jpg

Okay, we got our move on to the American Adventure.

Not enough time to catch the next show so we quickly found the Kidcot station, got the stamps and official thingie and then were off to Japan.
americatojapan.jpg

Ah Japan. The hardest place to find the Kidcot station, at least for us. We made our way into the store. We glanced around. We tried to find a map. See, we were pro’s and we didn’t need no stinkin’ map to know where things were. Only we didn’t know where all the Kidcot stations were. I told Rob to ask someone in the store for a park map finally. We look at the map, look at the general area of Japan and make our way to where we think the Kidcot station was. But we were in a dead end. I looked at my watch. It was 6 pm. I figured we should probably give up and make our way back to The Land for our 6:30 pm ADR at the Garden Grill. And off we went on the long hike back to Future World ...

Hey DM. Glad you are feeling better enough to give us an update.:thumbsup2

I am going to have try Jimmy with the Kidcot stops next year. They look like something he would enjoy

Waiting to hear about GG becasue I have it on my list for when I make the August ADR's.

Nice pics in the wedding site so far. I would have posted there but no button to post. :confused3

I love Italian men ... well, at least 3 of them.
Awww so sweet

“We” being said loosely.
Yep they definitely need adult stops :rotfl2:

That would be a definite no. Oh well. I tried.
You were thinking of us :goodvibes

I just made that up. I'm such a funny gal.
::yes:: :rotfl2:

Ah Japan. The hardest place to find the Kidcot station, at least for us.
It was the first time but now we know, lets hope they don't move it :rotfl2:

Waiting to hear about GG becasue I have it on my list for when I make the August ADR's.
Uh hum, didn't you read my review :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

The hardest Kidcots for us were Morocco and Canada. At least we know where they're all at now.

The Italian Pavilion is the one place we've spent literally "no" time at. We walk by with a fresh Lowenbrau from Germany and barely glance at it.

Great report DM. Thanks for the update.

If anyone is interested in seeing a few pictures of my brother's wedding, I have posted them on the TFW thread. I had to use 2 posts to get all the photos I wanted on. Here is a link to the first post ... DawnMaree's Brother's Wedding Photos

and the 2nd post
DM's Bro's Wedding post #2

Ok - that was weird... I posted a reply and it never showed up! :confused3

What I SAID was -
GREAT wedding photos - thanks for sharing! :goodvibes
And I ALSO SAID..
All the girls in the wedding party all look like they are VERY CHILLY, EXCEPT for little Miss Brooke, who had a SMART MAMA dress her in a sweater!! She looked precious! :cutie:

Hope you are feeling better, DM!

FWIW, I never found the Kidcot in Japan either. :confused3

Love the pic of the kids and Brook with her binkie! :rotfl:

Okay the fountain picture reminded me of mine from Cinderella fountain where you put your face on the girl's body. Hilarious commentary about the lady "puking" in the background!

I hope I'm not in the background of someone's picture while I was puking!:scared:

Sorry you haven't been feeling well DM:hug:

Getting caught up on your trippie, LOL at that ady "puking" in the fountain.

Do the kids like the kidcot, my niece will be 8 when we go next year, is she in the age range that like this?

Off to the TFW thread to check out the wedding photos...

DM, great update! And I loved the link to the pictures, you looked great!

That lady does really look like she could lol....

Kidcot in japan... definatly hardest to find.... in the "toy museumish thingy near the warrior statues... just in case anybody is wondering and didn't already know ;)

Loved the update as always DM :)

K - I'm in agreement with you, Italian man...totally not cute at all.

I can't wait to hear about your experience with Garden Grill so I can compare it with mine :rolleyes1

BTW - I had a peek at your wedding pics. Thanks for sharing :goodvibes
