Why do we have four fast passes?

We made our allotment of three fast pass choices per day and I went to look at our reservations as our magic bands have been sent out. To our surprise for some reason there are four fast passes showing on our schedule when we only were given three and that's all we chose. (For five weekdays)

Does anyone know if this has happened to anyone else and why?

Isn't Bug under refurbishment? Maybe it's going to be open when you go later this month. Plus, Bug and EE are overlapping. I've never seen that. You should verify that everyone in your group is on all of the FP+. Maybe there's a straggler who didn't make it. Is AK the only park where this occurred?

You probably don't need a fast pass for Bug. Use it on something else if you're able to have 4.

The overlapping times for EE and Bug are suspicious. I would check to make sure someone in the group doesn't have FP for the wrong ride, or that one of the two rides isn't a "phantom" FP.

Try to change them and see which ones show up. I had a TSMM phantom for weeks that was doubled up but skewed by 10 minutes. It's finally gone now.

When I go to change it, only the noon TSMM shows up as being changeable. I've forgotten about it because I hadn't really looked at in while.

PS - I know it shows more than 4, but our party is split up for Muppets and TOT.

Make sure that party has not been split up between attractions. That happened to us when making changes one time. GS said it was a glitch. I was using the app. It is notorious for keeping phantom FP+s. We had some that stayed on the app until we passed that day on our trip. I had changed days from EPCOT to the MK for the 7DMT and the EPCOT FP+ never went away. I ended up calling Tech Support. They told me that only our MK passes were valid. I started using only the MDE website to make changes. It was always correct although sometimes changes took awhile to show up. Check all party members and attraction times carefully. Call TS if you have concerns. Have fun.

This happened to us last year. We changed a FastPass attraction on the same day and while it gave us the new one it never got rid of the old one -for whatever reason. These 2 were for an overlapping time. We decided to give it a try and both FastPasses worked. Not sure how or why..... I guess it was our turn for some pixie dust!!
