I was looking at our dates in May and the values all have a different price?
All Star Movies is most ex*****ve and Pop is the least. Anyone know why?

Good question. I would think Pop would be more expensive since it is newer. Glad it's not though. I love Pop!

All values cost the same for the same type of room. The difference comes on if you get a perfered room or not. Are you also using the same site to check prices?

They shouldn't be priced different at all. The only difference would be the preferred buildings which would be $10 more per night. Where were you pricing this?

The All Stars are in the next county and the sales tax is slightly higher.

Discounts such as AAA may be available at one resort but not at another resort on any given night. If you call Disney and try to make a reservation, if one night does not have a discount, you are quoted a higher rate for the entire stay.

I was looking at the Disney World webiste. I didn't request a preferred view but now I'm wondering if it popped up automatically. I'm going back to check it out.

The room rates are all the same, it is the tax that is different because the All Stars and Pop are in different counties.

I just double checked, the Movies quoted a preferred view. Now the All Stars are the same and Pop is a few ($3.00 for 2 nights) cheaper.
Thanks

I'm sorry but I spit out my coffee when I read this lead topic. You must've mispelled 'expensive' :rotfl2:

The difference in price is the difference between regular and preferred rooms. Preferred rooms are 10 more.

The base price of the rooms are the same at all the resorts.

Tax is different. All stars have a 13% sales tax because they are in a different county. Pop has an 11.5% tax. So the price difference should only be slightly higher at All stars because of the tax.
