Why do they close so early on days in November?

I'm thinking of going in early Nov. But the parks close at 6:00 pm on the days I am looking at? Why do they close so early? What will we do at night? :confused3

The parks are empty, so they have to close them. Go to Citywalk, go to a movie, go to dinner and then go to bed!

Also International Drive has alot of small attractions like Ripley's WonderWorks that close at midnight.

Yeah, it's weird when the parks close at 6pm, but that's just the way it is.
The good news about these kind of days, is that the parks are empty, and you can go on the rides with no wait. Whereas with Disney, you wait in line no matter when you go.

There's plenty to do after 6pm. You could see a dinner show like Dixie Stampede, or Arabian Nights. Eating dinner at Margarativalle is also fun.

We're rarely in the parks after 6pm, even in the summer. The only night last week that we were there that late was when we stayed to watch Universal 360. By then, we are usually showering for dinner. We have a nice dinner, then stroll around the resort where we ate. If we eat at CW, we wander around there for a while. There's also soaking in the hot tub to get good & relaxed, before bed. If you're into the clubs, they're just getting started after dinner. If not, perhaps a movie. We don't go to the clubs or movies, & always find plenty of things to fill our evenings.
