Why do people attack others on these boards

I also think that some people perceive attacks that aren't there. Sometimes I have been shocked that someone took my posts in a negative way.

First of all, I want to say that many times the written word comes across differently then intended. Also, this is not an attack in any way, just an observation. I do not think you realize how some of your posts come across to others. In a post, a couple of weeks ago (can't remember the thread) you suggested that a poster was a troll and troublemaker based on: they were new posters and were expressing a view you did not agree with. This then started others getting on the band wagon and also calling this person a troll. I took this in a negative way, and I was not the person being called a troll.
You are a dieheart OKW fan and it is well known. It is great that you love your DVC home so much. It would be a shame for someone to pay the money a DVC membership costs if they did not like their home resort. Although I doubt this would ever happen, DVC could eliminate booking at non home DVC resorts or reduce the open booking window to less than 7 months. This is one of the reasons, we strongly agree with the mantra of: Buy where you want to stay.
You repeatedly say that OKW has a "vacation home" feel. Although it is not said, it is implied that you do not consider the other DVC resorts as having this quality. This is far from the truth and could very well be considered a post in a negative way. We have yet to stay in a DVC villa that did not feel like our "vacation home". A DVC villa is nothing like a hotel room no matter which DVC resort you are staying at. The villa most close to a hotel room would be a OKW studio.
I agree that some get over sensitive. We can't understand the whole resort bashing that goes on. We like all WDW resorts. Put us in any WDW resort as opposed to going to work. Also we can not understand why some really care what strangers think. We go with what we like and enjoy.
