Why do links in old threads no work?

The links in threads posted before the boards were down aren't working. Why? and can this be fixed?

For an example take a look at this thread which has links in it and they worked before the boards went down.

I figured it out myself. The old links have the word "forum" in the url. The new server doesn't.

BTW all the "IMPORTANT" thread should be updated if they have links from before the server went down and remove the word forum in them.

We're still doing updates. It will probably be several days before all of the kinks are worked out.
