Why do I stink at Buzz Lightyear

I am the world's lousiest video game player and Buzz is no exception- my first time on I got 0- yes 0 points. My then 2 year old got 500! On our last day we rode and I was as usual aimlessly shooting when I hit the jackpot of like 400,000 and outranked my brother and husband- were they ever jealous! It was a crowning moment to be sure. Doubt I'll ever see that happen again thoug, but it was good while it lasted!

Definitely keep the trigger pulled at all times -- even in the tunnel areas where there are no targets. You will continue to get points. I know!

When did they do a rehab? Last time I went (Feb 2002) at least 1/2 of the guns did not work (except to give those "free" point you get every 7th shot. I wrote to Disney complaining about it.

I used to stink...but in January I maxed out. No idea how I did it. I was only halfway through the ride so I just sat back and watched my friend shoot.

I want to say they did "rehab" this past February. I'm not sure what exactly they did, the cars still had paint chipped on them and my laser was still invisible.

There is a big red robot in the first room (I think) that if you spin your car around so your going backwards just after you pass him. He has a target on hid hand that is worth 100,000 points that you can usually get 2-3 times.

Good Luck maxing out that score!!

I'm someone else who scored a whopping 0 the first time I rode this. I've gotten better over time, by learning to find out where my laser is, but I can still have terrible runs. Love the ride anyway.
