We really like the location of CR. We love having the monorail and being able to walk to the MK. Last June we stayed standard wing for 6 nights, and last December we stayed at the tower for 9 nights.
We had a bad experience last December, we had no running hot water for 2 mornings, we got the run-around for that problem and some other issues, plus the hotel seems to look more rundown every time we go. I wrote an email to Disney about 3 weeks ago but never got a response.
Well, we got an email code last week for our next trip (May) and I initially booked WL. Today, I changed it to CR Garden Wing. Why am I going back if I had that bad experience??? Just thinking about the convenience of the location is what made me switch....but am I making a mistake? I guess I'm just paying for location and the big room. I guess that's okay as long as I'm aware of it???
DH and DS are happy with whatever I choose, they just smile and nod whenever I tell them I've changed my mind again. This time though, we're bringing the in-laws, and I want them to be happy too, especially since I don't think they're used to paying Disney hotel prices (even code prices LOL). I don't want them thinking I chose such a rundown hotel with bad service....
Anyway, sorry this got long, I guess I'm just venting and hoping for reassurance LOL
