Why do I keep getting this error?

Whenever I am checking availability after 4pm on New Years eve I keep getting this error:

"Sorry, there was an error when searching for availability. Please make sure your time is valid and try again."

Does 12/31 exist after 4pm, or is the Mayan prophecy coming true?

I know I'm putting in a valid date and time. If I put in a time before 4pm I get results and if I check on the 30th I get results even if nothing is available. What is going on?

Same here! I can look at every other day except New Years Eve! I know it's crowded then...but there's no way that every single restaurant is booked full! And if so, looks like we'll be eating ice cream and cotton candy for dinner.

In all seriousness, obviously they aren't all full and there must be an issue with the site...hopefully it's fixed soon!

Somebody just mentioned in another thread that Le Cellier announced a special NYE dinner. I wonder if all the restaurants are doing that and therefore no times are available?

I was getting the same error earlier just checking "breakfast" for November 27, so it's not just Dec 31.

For the Le Cellier New Year's Eve dinner, you must change the selection to dining event. I just checked, and there are several times available. Good luck.

I see what you are saying and I got that to come up, but now that doesn't explaine why I get that error when I just do a general search.

I'm not sure why it is doing that....but I just searched several restaurants individually by name for 12/31, and many different times came up for dinner. Hope that helps.

I figured out how to search for openings on that day, you have to "enter a restaurant name" and then search. Slower to do it that way, but it works.

I think it's because you are out more than 180 days. If your first day of arrival (must be a Disney resort guest) is 180 days or less away, then you can link your reservation and obtain 180+10 days out and begin making your dining reservations.

If not, you will have to wait until the 180 day mark.

Hello...thanks for the information. You were right. I thought that i could book day by day after the "10 day", but was wrong. I do have a split stay with another reservation 3 days later, so i'll use that confirmation a few days from now.
