Ding ding ding! We have a winner! I always try to tell people that. Even people who work AT WDW have that sentiment! Without Disney, Orlando would probably be another... Lakeland. Whee. As it is now, there's not much to the downtown or UCF areas.

Interesting thread here.

Just last night after the three of us (husband, daughter and myself) got off work here at Disney, we stayed to have some Chinese supper at the Lotus Blossom Cafe. While taking a walk around the World afterwards, my husband commented on how fortunate we were to have Disney here and be able to work at such a fun place during our retirement, not to mention the medical benefits, etc. Would have been hard pressed to find the same back in Ill.

Nothing is perfect in life, but I say, "Thank you Disney for being here for all of us".

I checked it too. I think most 11th graders probably prefer Universal anyway. I'm pretty sure DD's will when they get to be that age. Or at least want to visit...

Honey, how old are you? I'm an 18 year old coaster enthusiast, and I still prefer Disney over Universal. Coasters at Universal are better but Disney is my first love.
