About falling in love with the place? The beds were so soft and cushy, sheets and pillows so nice, towels so huge, all the little extras in the bathroom, the music everywhere being uplifting and yet soothing, all these people in black ready to cater to your every whim, I won't even mention FOTL! Trip report forthcoming, but I was blasted away by our HRH experience... (and I REALLY want one of those bath towels!)

We stayed at the HRH hotel in august, when we came home we waited about 2 weeks and booked another trip. I LOVE the HRH, too. We go back Jan 18. I cant wait!!!!!

Glad you had a good time.

Patty

If you all think that HRH is wonderful try PBH!! Boy they do make those beds in both resorts so comfy, huh?

DH didn't want me "dismembering" the bed, but I really want to know the mattress brand, or is there a fluffy mattress pad on there or what? Definately the best bed we had by far the entire trip. And why don't they sell those towels in the gift shop?

Oh I love those *bumpy* towels! I did miss having the robes & umbrellas in our room like at PBH, didn't HRH used to have robes in the room?Sure could have used one while I was there! I also noticed that the beautiful glasses are not in the rooms any more!

Some people down by the pool did have the robes, but I wonder if they weren't staying at the concierge level? And is there a name for those "bumpy/waffly" towels, I'm on a serious quest for some now!

 Welcome back, Yoopermom!

Sorry we didn't warn you but the HRH is hard to describe. It has to be FELT!

I feel the same way about HRH. I love it!. We stayed there for the first time Jan. 10-14 and don't want to stay anywhere else. We were booked in a gardenview room but were upgraded to a waterview, which was absolutely wonderful. You are so right about the beds, towels and robes. The most comfortable ever. As a matter of fact, I am sitting here typing in my HRH robe that our housekeeper left for us as a thank you for her tips. She's a very nice woman who really kept our room spotless.

Stop it everyone. This is torture. Our first stay at HRH is not until april and I am dying to sleep in one of these beds everyone is raving about.

Hi Terri
We are also yoopers (north central) and are going back to HRH for the third time in March... Can't wait.... Bet most people don't even know what a "yooper" is!!

A yooper is someone I visit on my snowmobile,,,from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, commonly called the UP,,,hence, yooper. Now get some snow up there!! I know, spoken as a true flatlander.

JW:p

Correct... Da UP of Michigan... North of da majority of people dat live in Ontario.. Were da snow is plentiful, and lots of sleds & tukes. Who would enjoy da palm trees, warmth & FOTL more dan us (at least for a few days.. den back to our sauna)... eh? :)

Kate,
Not to say that all yooper's are totally backwards... Got a chance to go to U of Fl for a few years & graduated in "74".. Lived in Gainesville on SW 13th st, just as the Hilton was being built across the street....
Many weekends to Crescent Beach with surf boards on top the old land cruiser & towing a Hoby Cat (now sitting here in 3' of snow). Only regret was that never made it in those days down to Orlando to see the swamps before USF made it big there.
Talk about cultural shock... but it is great to get back once in a while! DW, DS & I here now in "da UP" sure looking forward to March 8-12 at HRH.
Chuck:)

I sooooo agree with everybody on this thread. I just got back from a way too short 2 night stay there at HRH. I was very impressed with everything. To be honest, it makes me not want to return to Disney hotels. We own DVC at VWL, which I love, but boy of boy, that HRH. We will do both DVC and HRH when we visit this April and December (hope we can get those great rates!)
We can have the best of both 'worlds' :D
