Why didn't I know how good 24 is????

All I can say is wow! Two weeks ago Dh & I spent half the night in the ER with DD#2. She's fine but we were too tired to go to work the next day and had to keep her home anyway. Since we were stuck home, we decided to initiate the 30day free subscription to Netflix that we were offered thru the new TV DH bought a few months back. We decided to watch '24'. I really don't know how we missed this show! I'm obsessed and Dh is following right behind me. We are watching it every chance we get and are midway thru season 2 (we'll be extending netflix for a month or two).

Anyone else hooked? In a way, its almost a relief that we happened upon it this way- I can't imagine waiting a week for an hour teaser- at least this way we can watch multiple episodes if we skip our regular shows and stay in! Hey- at least Dh & I are getting quality time together!

We did the same thing 2 years ago. DH gave me a subscription as a Christmas present. I put 24 on there figuring we'd try it and we were so hooked we ended up watching all 5 or 6 seasons that were available then right in a row. It took a few months because we only got 2 discs at a time but we loved it. We then moved on to Alias, Prison Break, Bones, Dexter and are on Criminal Minds now.

We do stream on wii now too but mostly do the discs.

We started watching when season 5 was on tv. We really liked it, and watched all the back seasons. Haven't watched it since it ended.

Funny you mention this. We are watching disc 2 of season 2 right now. We watched the last few years on tv and your right, it was hard waiting week to week. I just borrowed the whole series from a friend. It is a great show. Very fast moving.

We started watching when it premiered in 2001, and we watched every season as it aired. I loved it (as did my husband and my parents), but I was actually kind of relieved when it ended last year.

Glad to see others loved it too! I'm stuck at work and itching to get home-especially since I know the president's speech will alter regularly programmed schedules. Can't wait to watch another episode or two.

You are soooo doing it the right way. Waiting a week between episodes was torturous at times!!!! But I do know how hard it is to find a stopping spot....just one more episode...into the week hours of the night.

I haven't watched it yet, but I think I am going to at some point on Netflix. I have recently discovered 30 Rock and Scrubs on Netflix so I have been alternating them recently.

I watched the original series, struggling through the weekly anticipation. The most difficult part of the end was realizing we may just have to move out of the country as we won't have Jack to defend us anymore (DW quit after season 3 when she realized Jack was the only one that could save the country every day).

Thanks all for joining in! I am so enjoying this. We watched two episodes from season 2 last nite and while I never found Kiefer attractive I am definitely drawn to Jack!

DH & I are having fun laying bets on what will happen next- this is one show that is bringing us together to watch. I don't want to add commentary-since it may be a spoiler for others who will stream Netflix like we are.

My mom is LOST without 24, it was her favorite show. I couldn't watch it...knowing that stuff like that probably goes down daily kinda scares me haha.
