Has anyone ever put off going on a particular ride until after several trips because they thought "So what?", then once they rode it, they were sorry they'd never done it before? That's just what happened to me last year. After 17 WDW trips, I finally got around to doing "The American Adventure". I can't believe I never did it before! I thought it was so good and now I can't wait to do it again on our next trip.

For me it was more the shows. FOTLK and Tarzan are 2 I saw on my last trip and I can't believe I skipped them in the past. Now I'm ready to see Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid.

Second that with The American Adventure, We did it for the first time after about a dozen trips. AWESOME

WE are going down next week and are finally going to try
The Hall of Presidents and Sounds Dangerous.

Looks like I'm going to have to try the American Adventure again. The one and only time I did, I fell asleep. Maybe, I was just too tired. I'll try it again, earlier in the day.

One of the attractions, I had been skipping then really liked was the movie in France. I'm sure there's more, I'll just have to think.

By the way, the Little Mermaid is a great show, you'll love it. The Hall of Presidents is also a nice show. As for Sounds Dangerous, I'll reserve comment.

Please don't laugh but for us last trip it was COP and Swiss Family Tree House at MK, Figment at Epcot and Great Movie Ride at MGM.

COP kept stopping/breaking down (?) and the narrator guy would start his whole spiel over. By the last room the audiance all got slap happy and were parroting the dialog and singing along. When we finally were released from the ride, spontaneous applause and laughing broke out.

Tree House was something we just always passed by but my kids were fascinated with the details and it is really pretty up in that tree.

Figment, not sure why we had skipped this before but this time DS had read a story at school about Figment so we had to go... twice! He even got to pin trade with Fig... ok it was a puppet on a CM's arm but it was still cool.;)

GMR is in partial darkness and DS used to be very afraid of dark rides so we had avoided it. Guess what? He loved it, we went twice!

After going to Magic Kingdom several times, this year was the first time I rode Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Found it to be very relaxing and beautiful at night.

Space Mountain. I didn't like coasters as a kid (and I still don't like looping ones). I rode Space Mountain for the first time when I was 14 and have been a thrill ride junkie since then.

We aren't really parade people, so we usually will watch if we get stuck in one, but won't stake out a spot to watch a whole one pass by (though we've made exceptions in the past, like "tapestry of dreams" and "spectromagic" or whatever it's called). On our last day, we got caught in the Animal Kingdom afternoon parade, and decided to stick around and watch it. We really enjoyed it, and have decided to take it in next year. Not sure if we'll keep doing it, but it's kind of raised our interest in parades in general.

Lion King and Buzz. I rode Buzz last December for the first time and loved it, I always got it confused with Astro Orbiter and thought I'd get sick on it. I also never got around to Lion King and finally saw that in July. I think it ranks as one of my top 2 or 3 of all!!! I think Wishes and Honey I Shrunk the Audience still top it, but it's a definite third. Wish I had done it sooner.

For me it was Tower of Terror.

Although I love wild rides I saw this one and thought - big deal, why bother? All it does is go up and down. I like rides that "go" someplace (like coasters). I ignored it until our trip last year and now it's the ride I'm probably looking most forward to! We walked right on before closing so unfortunately I missed a lot of the details. I'm almost hoping for a line this time so I can check it all out :)

Once AK opened, my DH and I stopped doing the Jungle Cruise at MK because the animals were fake and we thought it was more for kids and kind of cheesy. Then we went on it again last year and LOVED it! The goofy jokes and the "theming" of being on the river was so fun and so Disney. Now we always hit the Jungle Cruise, every trip!

Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular at DS...

took about 7 trips to see it the first time, but went again the next time down...

For us it was Splash Mountain. Now that the kids are older we all love it. Rode for the first time this past spring, now it's my favorite!

Splash Mountain. It wasn't "who cares" but more like "I'll be too scared." But it was wonderful! Can't wait to ride it again!

I still have yet to do the American Adventure & Swiss Family Treehouse...guess I'll try to do them this trip!

The Reflections of China movie. Never did it before, and it turned out to be really great! Same thing with Canada! Don't know why we waited so long to try them. They were great movies.

That's interesting. There've been multiple threads over on the Canadian board complaining about the movie (actually, I started one, after I got around to seeing it). I guess people tend to be a little self-conscious about how they're portrayed to others. It's nice to hear a different perspective.

Kungaloosh!
Morticia.

The MK Skyway "buckets" - thought they were a waste of time but found it to be a relaxing ride with a great view. I understand why they were removed but I miss them.

buzz...we have 2 DD and thought it was a "boys" ride...one of our favorites now...we are a really competative family !!!
