wendypooh said:I don't like it.......... I think she's fine for the beach or waterpark, etc... but NOT at Disney. Just my opinion, I don't think it's appropriate, but that's me. I've got as my sister calls it, a "rockin" body (for an old lady with 2 DS's in college) but, I'd never wear that to Disney. I have more self respect than that......... but hey, that's just me!!!
I have seen a women at US/IOA with her baby in a stroller, wearing literally a bikini top, and skirt (with NO undergarments)...... so short it's sickening. I saw her bend over to give the baby something and all of her "assets" were in FULL view of everyone, YES, even the little kids. That is gross, and offensive to me, and a lot of others. This women clearly has NO self respect, no respect for her children or her husband ( if that WAS her husband with her)!! AND, it's not like you can help but see it........... this woman was doing it on purpose, she bent over I know 20 times, and for no reason, the kid wasn't crying or in need of his mother to warrant her showing her undressed butt to everyone!!!! There was an old man in a wheelchair right across from her, and I saw him before I saw her, which made me look at her in the first place, but I thought he was having a heart attack or something......... the look on his face was "interesting" to say the least, then once I realized what he was "looking" at, I felt sick to my stomach!!!!!
I think the worst thing I ever saw was at Busch Gardens in Tampa, a girl, probably 13 or 14, she still had a "baby fat" belly, wearing a t-shirt, tied around the front, you know like the bottom was pulled up between the breast and tied, making a "makeshift" bikini top, and a pair of shorts that were so short and tight I don't know how she got them on......... but that's not the bad part.......... on the butt of the shorts it had the word, P***Y written.
Even my two sons who were teenagers got disgusted at that........... I mean what kind of mother would allow that....................... OH, yeah, her mother had on a jean skirt and bikini top!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I have to say is that the trash should go out on garbage day only!!!!!!
Go ahead, flame away, but nothing you say will change my mind......... that kind of "attire" and behavior is inappropriate and offensive!!!!!!!!!!!

.It's one thing to wear the things you mentioned seeing, the woman with no underwear flashing, and a little girl with the word p***y on her shorts (and if I saw that by the way, I would be disgusted by her parents more than her). Wearing a reasonable skirt and a bikini top that is an appropriate size (ie. not too small so her breasts are actually showing) in no way means that she lacks self respect. Being that it's in Florida I would venture to guess it was really hot that day, and perhaps she got wet on a ride and took her shirt off to try out. Either way, what she's wearing certainly does not mean she is lacking in self respect. Who are YOU to judge who has respect for themself? You are free to your opinion, but if you find something like that totally offensive and innapropriate perhaps you should start learning how to spend more time in your house because almost anywhere you go I'm sure someone will be wearing something that will offend you
AND I said thatI think she's fine for the beach or waterpark, etc... but NOT at Disney
YOU clearly didn't read my post accurately. You are right, maybe she was just "drying out" after getting off a water ride!! However, I grew up in Florida, and now live in Louisiana, so I know aboutI have more self respect than that......... but hey, that's just me!!!
being HOT!!! That is NO excuse to go out in public, to a "family" place and dress that way!Being that it's in Florida I would venture to guess it was really hot
is ridiculously absurd!! So I should stay in my house so I don't have to "see" offensive things???? I would think that anyone, YES, including YOU who has any RESPECT for decency would agree with my point, even if you don't agree with where the lines are drawn!!you should start learning how to spend more time in your house because almost anywhere you go I'm sure someone will be wearing something that will offend you
WHO are YOU to tell me to stay in my house, and furthermore, Who are YOU to decide where the line is???? Here's a thought for you, shocking as it may be, why don't all those who dress inappropriately stay in thier houses?????????????? So that they don't have to "deal with" all of us who may find their attire offensive? Sound stupid??? Well, if the shoe fits....................It's one thing to wear the things you mentioned seeing, the woman with no underwear flashing, and a little girl with the word p***y on her shorts (and if I saw that by the way, I would be disgusted by her parents more than her). It's better than seeing love handles coming out of low rider pants that I'm seeing on a lot of girls.
Who are YOU to decide where the line is????
Amyality said:Yes. The outfit is on the skimpy side but, it would be a whole lot worse if she didn't look like Paris Hilton. The girls that wear something like this and are 20 lbs or more overweight are the ones who need a reality check and a shirt. It is a total pet peeve of mine to see fat rolls hanging out of low rider pants and cropped spandex shirts. My mom told me...nobody is perfect but, the ones we think are have learned to highlight their best features and play down their flaws. Its not complicated.
After a week, I became immune to it. Wouldn't their parents be proud!!!!

YOU are also right, I can state MY opinion about it. I could care less what you think. In MY post the people I was talking about as lacking self respect, were the one's described, or the one's who fit the description of what I described.
Frankly ~ For you to suggest that I - is ridiculously absurd!! So I should stay in my house so I don't have to "see" offensive things???? I would think that anyone, YES, including YOU who has any RESPECT for decency would agree with my point, even if you don't agree with where the lines are drawn!!
