I have quite a few relatives who are on the "large" size, including a niece who dresses like the description above. Does that make her any less of a person? If she's comfortable dressing that way, who am I to say anything? She is one of the sweetest, caring, most unassuming people I know, and if anyone automatically dismisses her based on the way she dresses, no matter where she's at, it's their loss.

Could be worse...in Myrtle Beach the trend of the kids that ride the non Harley bikes is to have a girl on the back with a very short dress w/o any bathing suit/panties/thong. Hard to ignore when their whiney bikes pass you with their dresses billowing over their heads. What a special treat for my DS's After a week, I became immune to it. Wouldn't their parents be proud!!!!
There's a fine line between dressing like a 'Ho and being tastefully sexy. Either way, what's appropriate in a club doesn't "fly" in a family amusement park - no matter how hot it gets. Save it for the water parks/beach. BTW, Myrtle Beach has a law against thongs on the beach. Not sure what the rules are in FL.

What, exactly, is a 'womanly' body?![]()
crisi said:I find curves to be a prereq for a "great body." Flat chested and underweight doesn't do it for me (just as overweight doesn't do it for others). I find over skinny gross and sickly looking (and I was a 5'7" 97 lb 22 year old - too skinny! But then I was ill when I was below 100 lbs). I'm a "size six or eight, B or C cup with hips" girl. If you don't have cuves, no problem, just means I won't date you - doesn't mean your deficient. Since I'm a straight married woman, chances of me dating you were slim to start with.

WDW LOVR said:IYou have no idea who I am and to make an assumption about me is exactly what you are railing against. For your information, I am on the larger size too, so to think I'm making fun of someone because of their weight is so absolutely wrong it's laughable.
jann1033 said:like i said ( and i just reread it about 5 times) it was confusing. one one hand you said you chuckled ( i said laughed, figure they are about the same thing) when you saw them wearing things and then said how if someone judged your niece due to her size they were missing out...still don't get it but i wasn't really intending to start a big debate. many have commented about "size" being the deciding factor and i don't see how size has anything to do with it

Because her boyfriend thought she looked great! It just goes to show that everyone has their own opinion and they are entitled to it! I am offended that my b-i-l wears tube socks and shorts. But I don't make him stay home!![]()

Oh fine, a thread devoted to picking on the half-naked chick then start on skorts!!!! What's next on the hit list: fanny packs & Crocs??? Be very careful, throw in a Disney T-shirt & always fashionable Mickey rain poncho & you're describing my usual park attire.ceecee said:![]()

Or my BIL who wears brown dress socks with brown shoes WITH shorts...bad! I personally wouldn't want to try to get on and off rides with a mini denim skirt, maybe they were skorts???

For the poster who said larger/overweight people offend them and they'd rather their kids see someone who takes care of themselves over someone overweight...how do you know that you don't need to wear a paperbag over your face as to not offend others? Just something to think about while you're out there judging all these "offenders".
