Actually I registered 2/6/2000 as Katholyn, about a week later we had a huge crash and I couldn't post under that name anymore so I registered again.

I've enjoyed reading all your names!! Mine comes from my love of Disney and Mim is what my kids call me. They love to use it in a crowd (like at Disney) so only I turn to look and not a bunch of other Moms!! They tell me I'm one of a kind and I needed a name to go with it!! LOL!! It was also my nickname growing up, my brother was called Butch. Our names are Harold and Charles, where the nicknames came from, no one remembers.

I have been a big fan of the Dragonrider's of Pern series since I was in HS and have always loved the name Kylara (although the character is a real witch!!!). So when I needed a screen name, I used it...it also matches the email that I was using at the time:

I had some school letterhead sitting in front of me so I used "Montessori", I was pretty sure that wouldn't be taken.
