Why did we plan out this entire trip?! A 2nd Honeymoon Report...sorta.The End. 5/21

Yall should definitely try and make a trip down there! My mom is from the New Orleans area & I just love it! It's such a fun place with so much to do/see! Not to mention, you'll enjoy some REAL beignets!

YUM. It is def on my list!

Great update. Looks like a relaxing day so far. I've never had a beignet, nor do I even know how to pronounce it. LOL

So we last left DHS on the boats to Epcot. We love these boats, relaxing and mellow.

And the view ain’t half bad either.

Are we tired or what????

We planned to hit the countries and wander them the rest of the day grazing on some more F&W. So we made our way straight to France. There was that PP guy set up on the bridge, so we took advantage of it!

I def go do the same things every time we are in the countries so we tried to do a bit of extra exploring and see how many more firsts we could do.

This is one of my fav places in all of the countries. Not that I am a bookworm or anything. LOL.

What can put you in a better mood than being in Disney for F$W? A Wine Walk of course! First stop being France.

We shared them all and really liked several of them. I can’t remember not liking any of the flavors we tried. And for $20 you can’t go wrong!

On to Morocco for some pictures and silliness. And for me to look for that necklace I should have bought like 3 trips ago that they never have. But the jewelry in there is gorgeous!

His first pic had some choice fingers in it, so this is his “censored” version of that.

Its so peaceful back there, we wandered around and checked out all the neat stuff.

We decided to use one of the still remaining CS credits we had, from our lovely never to be done again-mixed up- dining lan, in Japan. We got the combo with teriyaki chicken,rice & beef with Ginger cake.

Japan has photo ops written all over it! I LOVE it.

We saw this sucker coming out for tonight.

Stop # 2 om the Wine Walk- Italy! I LOVE me some Rosa Regale!

We grabbed a seat on the covered bench and relaxed a bit. We were people watching and came across some really crazy people! There was this couple sitting on the steps in the center of the pavilion literally groping each other. The man had his hand on her breast out in the open. We were amazed and kinda grossed out. It was really an unnecessary display that kinda made me mad because of the amount of kids around. So of course I tried to get a picture!

It’s not a full on grope but I think he was going in for another…crazy right?!

We stopped at the Vienna booth to try the paprika beef stew that my friend had said was great.

Meh. It was ok but not as good as I expected.

We stopped in germany to get the last 2 glasses of my Wine Walk. I had a moment for my Fockers as I always do and we kept on wandering.

There was a PP guy on the little bridge by germany and we had never taken any from there before so we went over. I love these pics. We are a bit disheveled from the long day/trip but that aside they were really cute and the guy was so fun!

Next stop- a finally not under construction anymore, China.

These next 2 pics have become some of my favorite ever taken. They are on my desktop at home and my phone as wallpapers.

We rarely spend any time in China, for no good reason, so we did spend some time that day! It’s really so beautiful.

KC really wanted one of these guys.

So what do you do when you have a million CS credits?! Eat in China even tho you generally aren’t to into the food. Why not, right? We had like 6 left still.

It was orange chicken and rice. The dessert was caramel ginger ice cream. We now have a new “I have to have this in WDW” dessert. SO GOOD!
It was turning to evening and we were starting to get tired.

BUT we still had several CS credits left and since it was our last full day we decided to get some stuff that could travel home with us, or at least t the plane for snacking. Can you tell from this where we went??

We went to Nor-vay or course! We got 2 CS’s to go. This really is one of the best CS credits for the $!!

We got 2 sandwiches (the club and the ham/apple) with 2 salads and a rice cream and a cloudberry horn and the huge sized drinks. We also discovered that they have sweet tea there! Score for the non soda people! We did eat the desserts then and took the huge drinks with us.

Another PP ?! Sure why not?

We had to at least make a stop in Mexico. We usually walk up the side, the handicapped way, because its easier than the steps and I like the mural on the side of the building.

KC likes to feed it drinks apparently.

We wandered around looking at all the neat stuff for a while. KC is Puerto Rican but they tease him at work and call him Mexican so he decided to show them and dress him up! It was really funny, he even sent it as a tweet picture.

For Jordan- the tongue kitties!

So we were about ready to pass out and made our way out of the park. KC really didn’t think the largest sweet tea was enough, he wanted a giant glass of wine.

I just wanted some neat PP pics.

We did make a stop to say goodbye to our lovely bud, Jordan at Pin Central since we were leaving the next day.

Looks like such a nice day. I would love to go to WDW sometime by my self and just wander the places that my family normally doesn't go to. Sometimes with little ones you just can't do the "boring" stuff, because they get so antsy. Well sometimes husbands get antsy too. Oops, did I just say that outloud?

So we were saying our final goodbyes to Epcot and decided we had to make at least a small appearance at Disney Quest. KC loves it there and since I got one admission we decided it was a fine time to spend a few there, esp since it’s so close to the hotel.

We spent most of our time at the classic games. I love me some Burger Time!

We did take a spin on the Buzz bumper cars thing. It was fun. Overall this place has gone downhill. We used to love going there and now it’s just about an hour of fun and that’s it. We didn’t end up staying very long. We headed over to the dock by Cirque to catch the connecting boat to the marketplace so we didn’t have to walk all the way back. I am also pretty sad at the state of Pleasure Island. But that’s another story I think.

We waited by the House oF Blues and KC snapped this of tired me.

We decided to go to POR one more time and see if our friend Felita was there. She was! Turns out she was there the evening before but no one went to get her. We got to chat for a while and catch up. It was getting late and we had to pack up that night so we made a quick stop at the food court for a bacon cheeseburger meal and a cherry cobbler to share in the room (3 CS still to go, I think.). We walked the nice walk down the river to our room and were packed and out cold by 1230.

We got up about 8am and got all our stuff packed up. We ended up with a whole bag of leftover food and stuff to bring home and another bag with all the stuff I bought while we were there. We lugged it all over to luggage services and then had one last drama to deal with.

When we got the dreaded envelope under the door there was a random charge of $67.50 and we could not figure out what the heck it was! So I went to the front desk to ask, After the CM going over and over it she couldn’t figure it out. We were literally there for a half hour trying to figure this out. At some point she decided to kick it to her supervisor and as soon as she looks at it she asks

“Did you pay for a water view room?”

Let’s all take a look back at the beautiful room view we got….

The big blue door was ours…

I replied with “NO, it was a CM discount room , I didn’t have that option”.

“Well someone charged you for that room type and never took the charges off, I’ll go ahead and fix that for you”

Yea you do that CM. That was a half hour I can’t have back. But we chalked it up to the worst customer service trip EVAR!

At some point I felt KCs rage a’brewin’ so I sent him off with the camera to take some shots all around the lobby and what not. This is what we came back with.

We shared a breakfast platter for some grub and then headed on our way to our last day park, MK.

When asked how he was feeling about this trip this is what I got…

I said “we get to go home today!”

And it was officially Christmas in MK so of course I had to take a ton of pics!

And we needed the last of the PP pics too, naturally.

He likes to bite my head in pictures, he’s special. I thought it hilarious that the PP got that.

We headed to Fantasy Land to hit the few things we had missed this trip.

So this is where he ask me for the camera and I think he went a little bonkers. BUT they are pretty funny so I’ll share even tho they are of my not so fav body part. LOL

And his fav.

I can never get enough castle pics….ever.

We saw this in one of the shops and had never seen it before- neat!

We thought it looked like he was going potty. LOL.

We did ride some rides too, not just take stupid pictures. We rode Peter Pan, and waited a little for it but nothing bad. I def need to do this ride at least once so the small wait was worth it.

After Peter, KC decided to go get us some BTMRR FPs. I went over to ride Snow White since there wasn’t a wait and we met up after that at Dumbo.
I only managed one pic on Snow white.

We were dying out on fun pretty fast so we decided to use the very last 2 CS credits we had for something that is a MUST every trip, Magical Tuna. Only to find out that we had 2 more left still!!! Really?! Anyways, If you have never had the tuna at CHH- GO! It is just the best tuna in the whole world! We each got one on that awesome whole grain bread, chips, and got 2 different desserts that we ended up adding to our bag of food to take home with us. Those chips are awesome with the honey mustard sauce they have there! FYI there is sweet tea here too. Yum.

We decided to use the FPs for BTMRR next. As we were making our way over we saw a group of people with premade shirts on. When we read it we both took a double take so I sent KC with the camera to get a pic because it was funny….

Anyone else see “Dad’s GOTH Birthday” and not Dad’s 60th Birthday”. Bad font choice people.

After a ride on the wildest ride in the wilderness we decided a loop around on the train was just what we needed. We relaxed and enjoyed it. We got off in Toon Town and wandered around a bit. Then I got a reluctant KC to ride Small World with me. I only require one ride and I get that a lot of people hate it, but it always reminds me of being 8 years old and making my grandma and grandpa ride it over and over again. So he went along with it, once a trip anyway.

She’s so cute!

The only ride in all of MK we hadn’t done that we wanted to was Buzz. So we set out to get that done.

We passed this lovely spot on the way.

We got to Buzz and the line was all the way out the queue but we got on anyway. We waited maybe 10 minutes and were completely not in the mood so we decided to skip it. Sorry Buzz!

So we did make one more PP stop. KC has been obsessed with squishing Tink in a photo forever but you can’t always get a fun PP person to take it, but he lucked out this time.

And a few last ones on the way out.

We bussed it back to POFQ by 2pm and had plenty of time to catch our ME. We also had 2 credits still to use, so why not get something ELSE to bring home, right?!

We got 2 muffaletta sandwiches with pasta salads, 2 drinks and desserts to eat then. I got a choc chip with mint choc chip ice cream cookie sandwich and KC got a bowl of strawberry ice cream.

Holy carp was that Sammie HUGE! It was so good tho. It is also considered a snack credit, FYI.

We ended up getting on an earlier ME that we planned but figured there was more to do in the airport than at POFQ. So we said our goodbyes to our honeymoon and 2nd honeymoon resort.

We ended up getting some starbucks at the airport and relaxing at the gate and snacking on some of our many leftovers. The flight was on time and our awesome friend Dan was there to pick us up on time and we were home by about 11pm that night!

FINAL THOUGHTS

This trip was a mess. It will probably remain the worst trip we ever took in a lot of ways. Also in a lot of ways it’s the best because chances are until I’m old and retired and working for WDW I won’t get to be a CM there again. I got some superiorly bad service but I wouldn’t trade having actually worked for Disney for anything.

We have been to WDW so many times and that makes us very lucky. We have learned to make lemonade with anything bad that can happen there. It will forever remain my favorite place on this planet for that very reason.

We don’t have any trips planned at the moment, we are trying to get our debts and finances in order and hopefully move to a larger apartment this year. So I need to live vicariously through pictures and TRs and that’ll do for now. I am def missing it, and missing not planning any trips but we def have some good stories to take with us from this and many trips.

We are extremely lucky to have been able to get through the last year together and survive it virtually unscathed. Disney at the end of a bad year mae it almost worth it.
