Yay! Dessert party entrance! Those desserts look really good. The viewing area seems good for Wishes. Although I am not a fireworks person, I think the Dessert and Fireworks combo could be a winner.

This is soooooo much better than the beginning of your trip..glad things got better.

Yea it was def a highlight for me, it was much better than the stinky start to the trip...we made the magic work for us!
Generally I am not a fireworks person either but there is something about Wishes that gets me, esp when seen with a good view when you are comphy and full of yummy foods!

We did intend to go to CHH that night for some magical tuna but I was so hyped that we got into the dessert party we just threw caution to the wind and had desserts only! It was great!

It's basically voices going over the whole park and they tell a short story and say goodnight to anyone left in the park. It was really neat!!!

I've never heard that boefroe and I have close MK donw a couple of times. Dod they only do it on certain days?

I dont think so, i think its every night. It happened well over an hour after the park closed tho, we sat around for quite a while.

Is this thing on?? I can’t leave it unfinished so I am going to give this puppy some life and get ‘er done! Let’s pretend that this trip wasn’t 6 months ago shall we….

We were up at about 730am and out the door by about 830am. Not too bad. We got to our morning destination, DHS, about 9am. We just missed the rope drop I think. Of course we stopped for some PP pics on the way in.

We went straight for our new favorite ride, TSM!!! We grabbed FP’s and then hopped onto the regular line queue. It moved along pretty fast and soon we were ridign away.

You know I lost to KC.

Darn those shooter video games he plays! We then went over and hoped onto….

We wandered over to the animation academy because we were killing time until the first American Idol show. There was a bunch of awesome stuff from The Princess & The Frog movie out!

KC loved the villain! & I love anything New Orleans…look:

We wandered over to the first showing of AI. It was the first time we had ever done this too. It was really neat. I am generally a fan of Idol (not this season tho lol) so this was pretty cool.

We got out just in time to walk to our lunch ADR @ Brown Derby. I had lunched here once before but KC never had. We had a date with a cob salad. And a purdy Christmas tree in the lobby.

We found Patrick Swayze! RIP.

We shared the salmon and mushroom ravioli for apps.

And for our entrée we had the famous cob salad. Holy YUM! We are still talking about how good it was.

After an awesome lunch we decided to use our FP’s fr one more stroll on TSM.
When we were waiting to get into the line we saw this guy! He was so neat to watch.

We saw this and decided to give our best bud Pants/Andy a hug.

Of course I lost again.

We had one more first in mind for the afternoon. Something KC had wanted to do for a while and we never semedd to stay in the park long enough for, The Lights, Motors , Action show.

Boy is it a HIKE to get to the theater. But there is a cool view of Walt’s plane from, the backlot tour.

And the view from the bleachers was really neat too.

It was a lot of fun! KC really enjoyed it and he got to cross something off the list of things he has never seen/done.

We walked our way to the front of the park via the streets and took some silly pics along the way.

We decided not to take a break and to take the relaxing friendship boats to Epcot and get some more F&W!

My brother had me hysterical one year, he ran down there and ran into the wall because he wasn't paying attention! Lol! He told me he did it on purpose because he was pretending it was Harry Potter...yeah, yeah

I really think as much as I miss WDW already, New Orleans is the next place we need to do a vacation. I am slowly working on DH by making him watch things involving New Orleans and hear me talk about anything I can find out. LOL. Yall should definitely try and make a trip down there! My mom is from the New Orleans area & I just love it! It's such a fun place with so much to do/see! Not to mention, you'll enjoy some REAL beignets!
