HI! Thanks so much for coming out of lurkdom!!! I have 2 pairs of crocs flip flips but KC was so anti croc it was AMAZING he bought them, it didn't hurt that I got them for 1/2 off with the CM Discount. He still uses them as slippers in the house!

Hi Kat !! Good luck with the job hunting !!! I should be getting my new laptop tomorrow !!! I found a Toshiba at WalMart for $398 and had Phil research it and he says for what I use a laptop for it will be okay!! He will hook it up for me and put all the virus protection on for free !! It is awesome having him to do my "putor stuff and as I help him out a lot with ON CALL he does it for free !! I just pay for any parts !!!!!!

I am still cleaning! LOL. It was like moving back into the house after we got fumigated...such a hassle and it's still gonna take me until prob tomorrow until it's all done!
NICE! Thats pretty much what KC does, he doesn't charge anyone for working on their stuff just finds them the best deals on parts and stuff.

After the wonderful night we had, we had a date for our fav Disney breakfast this morning. We were up at 7am and out the door by about 8am. We were planning on taking the boat to DTD and then hopping on the AKL bus BUT it was too early for that.
So we walked our way past the pool and toward the main building so we could catch a bus to AK and then another bus to AKL. We had plenty of time since our ressie wasnt until 9:55am. On the way to the bus we noticed some of the Christmas decorations were making their way into the resort already .
We asked a woman to take our pic by the fountain inside too. It was a re-enactment of our favorite honeymoon pic.

We are a bit larger and the resort got a lot more flowers lol.
So to AKL we went! We wandered the gift shop a bit and the lobby, taking pictures. I love this resort and love taking pictures there.

We checked in early for breakfast at Boma and we were seated right away. We had a great server who actually treated me nicely after she found out I was a CM. We got huge glasses of the juice and she always kept them full. BTW we love that juice so much we make it at home now - so good!
This is def my fav breakfast in WDW, KCs as well. So we ate our fill for sure. You cant beat curried egg and sausage with biscuit toppers!
After stuffing our faces we needed a bathroom break before heading out for the day and we noticed something we never saw before
They are made of telephone wires, something KC uses at work and something he makes little things he calls wire people out of. So we marveled at how neat the plates were.
We were full and decided to chill out in the lobby for a while, I LOVE how relaxing it is there! I used the opportunity to take another pic of KC and his Crocs LOL.
His feet were kinda bothering him in them too, but only because he isnt used to flip flops rubbing on his toes. So we made some band aid pads where it hurt and he used some of my blister block. Then we were on our way for the afternoon to AK.
This is by the doorway leading to the bus stops and the front of the resort see anything hidden or Mickey???
A closer look perhaps
We got a bus to AK and were there in no time. We went straight for the PP, of course.
And then when we got inside the park we stopped for some more! It was a bright day out but I wanted pics without the sunglasses.
The PP guy kicked KC out of the pictures and told me to take the Simba pics, a first for me!
Off we went to see what Africa had to offer.
I swear this is the most photogenic park ever!
I thought these were hilarious, set up on the roof of the building where tusker house is!
I had never noticed them before! We saw a million things this trip that we hadnt before, it was really cool.
We decided to FP the Safari and head to Rafikis Planet watch, something we had never done before. I had always wanted to see the animal exams and was most excited about that. The train ride was nice and relaxing and then we wandered around for a while.
They were doing a check up on a bat in the exam room. It was SO COOL. We watched for a long time. It had a busted wing but it couldnt be splinted because its too hard for them to fly that way so they were just checking up on him. It really was very neat to see. And the bat was HUGE!

We walked around some more and tried to get on the line for Jiminy Cricket but as soon as we were 3 people to the front, he left. I have never had a pic with him but this seemed to be the un-character trip so we left the line and headed back to the train and off to use the FPs for the Safari. I think we waited a little bit in the FP line but if I didnt note anything about the wait then it was pretty fast.
This guy held us up for a bit because he needed to cross the road and hang out.
Apparently I cant *** a PP photographer without stopping, so heres some more
We were on our way across the park to one of my fav rides in all of WDW. Now let me start by saying, I dont like roller coasters. I swear. But in WDW I love em all! My fav, Everest! Its the weirdest thing, but I really do love it. I dont go on roller coasters anywhere else, just in WDW. KC thinks its hilarious but he likes rides so hes happy I will go on them with him.
So off to Everest we trekked.
We stopped to see the monkeys for a while too, very entertaining.
Youll never guess what we did then .stopped at another PP.
it was getting kinda dark and stormy looking but I needed a bunch of pic of my fav mountain and the neat shrine. KC never realized the peaks are matching to the peaks on Everest, neat right?!
We got in the regular line queue for Everest, something I have never done. We have always FP-ed or single rider lined it. But I would rather have ridden with KC this time so we strolled the queue.
I think I tried to redneck the picture but it came out too dark and we werent towards the front of the car. Oh well.
Next we headed over to wait on the line for the Nemo Musical. We hadnt seen this one in quite a few trips so we were excited to see it again. I remember loving it the first time.
We ended up getting a kickin seat in the front, about 3 rows from the stage!

I still dont get how this never got turned into a Broadway musical, its better than the entire production of The Little Mermaid on Broadway. But thats just my opinion!
So it was threatening to rain so we had to figure out something to do that was covered up. Here is where being in Disney on vacation can sometimes become bad. We werent really hungry but we also knew wed not be coming back to AK this trip so do we get one of KCs fav things in AK Flame Tree BBQ or not?? Yea we did it. We shared. But we walked off all the calories right?
KC made a friend and was throwing him our cornbread
I found it pretty amusing that we had gotten 2 cups and both were from different holidays we were there at a transitioning holiday time, it seemed, LOL.
It did rain when we were eating but we got seats under one of the covered areas so we didnt even notice it.
KC had had enough of the corcs by now, the flip flop part was rubbing too much, so he wanted to go back to the room so he could get socks or his other pair of shoes at least. So we decided to split up since he just needed to make a quick room run so off we went .
Next up trying to get my wish.

I agree with KC,I'm not a croc fan either. I do have a pari of nahdydown ones, but I only wear them gardening, since I can just rinse them off. I don't find them comfy at all though. And flip flops are a big yuck to me. I can't stand the the feeling between my toes....so much so that I actuall have a hard time even standing straight up in them. They feel os wierd and painful. LOL!

I def say do the breakfast, tons of choices so you can get traditional stuff or the more exotic stuff too! I am a flip flop girl, I counted when I was cleaning out the closet, I have 10 pairs!
I only like the croc flip flops, the others are too bulky for me. I miss Disney too, this TR is keeping the happy alive, because we have no trips planned at the moment!
I really love the ribs!!!

Hi Kat !! Boma breakfst is a must do every time I go solo!!! I love the juice and the sausages !!Really neat pix of AK !!! We did Rafiki Planet Watch in September ! Kyle was on a mission for those badges from all the stations !!! Judy was muttering up a storm as she was ALL over AK a few times to complete it !!!
