Last week I ordered some used books from Amazon.com.. Among the books I ordered was Karen Kingsbury's "Redemption" series.. So what's the first book to arrive in the mail today?

The last book of the series!!!!

I've read that series and I think it is my favorite of all her work Wait for the others, it is physically impossible for me to read a series of books out of order...it's a sickness

That's a bummer! I hate when they do that! Especially when I'm into a historical romance series that i read the book all in one day. And pray the other one is in the mail! I've run down many a mail carriers!

I have the same sickness.. Sigh.. I can NOT read a series out of order..

I'm right there with you.. I'm on a reading frenzy right now and there have been days when I have read two books and started on a third! The other books I ordered are also series (Beverly Lewis) -so again I'm stuck with waiting until they are delivered and I have them all in the correct order..

I am so glad you reminded me, I have a series by Janette Oke that I need to finish reading. I have read all 8 of the Love Comse Softly books, but there are 4 more that co-inside that I need to read and I forgot that I had them. The first 8 were wonderful I couldn't put them down and I don't like to read much.

C. Ann, I love that set of books - the Redemption series. There are two more sets with the same families as the Redemption series - the Firstborn Series & the Sunrise Series. Lots of good reading! Enjoy.

Great.. Now I'll frantically be searching for them as well (the used book garage over in town first).. I love it when a good book "never ends" - the series just goes on and on and on..

ETA: Are these two other series about the Baxter family as well? And if so, what order should I read them in?

Anyone like to walk in the rain? We are having torrential downpours here right now and I'm dying to go down to my rural mailbox and see if any additional books arrived today.. It's raining so hard, I wouldn't even make it from here to my car without being totally drenched..

Any volunteers??

Yes - I think there are 4 shipments total (11 books), but the one that arrived first was the one from the farthest away - Florida.. And it was even sent by Media Mail!!

I really tried to keep it down to only 2 sellers, but couldn't find 2 that had all the books I wanted for the price I wanted to pay..

As of a few minutes ago the mailman dropped by.. I have all of the "Annie's People" series - and all of "The Courtship of Nellie Fisher" series (by Beverly Lewis)..

The "bad" news? I now have all of the "Redemption" series -

EXCEPT THE FIRST BOOK !!!

If you forget the order, go to the author's website, karenkingsbury.com & they will be listed for you. Just make sure you don't read any of the synopsis's given or it will spoil the storylines.
