Why did I jump ten feet off this computer chair

well a big military plane just buzzed our city....scared the you know what out of me....we do live about 30 miles from a naval air station....but they never come over the land....their planes are for coastal water inspections....My husband was at this base for his four years in the navy.....so I hear this big noise.....and then think this is it....and then see the makings of an Independence Day movie right here over my house.....scared me I tell ya....

Everytime I see an army plane flying below radar in my area, it makes me jumpy. I wonder if there's something going on or if they're just practicing. The closest military base is about 50 miles or so away.

We had something fly over my house a few months ago. It was big and loud but I never saw it.

I have noticed more planes around here too - have an air force base real close - but they have been flying more and a little lower too this past week or so

I'd bet there's something going on...

We've been to a number of Navy football games and there's a
fly-over just before each game. It's my favorite part of the whole spectacle....it's like a roller coaster ride almost. The NOISE, the WIND....just incredible. They are so close you can see the pilot. At one game I was seated with friends who have a 5yo. The flyover scared him so bad he cried almost half of the first quarter. The jet entered the stadium at the opposite end, flew what seemed like RIGHT AT US and then veered off into the sky. This was a fighter jet. Like I said....INCREDIBLE.

Just heard on FoxNews that 2 F-16's just escorted a private plane down at the Wiscasset airport...... I didn't know there was an airport in Wiscassett...... apparently the small plane went into Canadian airspace and the pilot wasn't very talkative when they tried to contact him..... they don't like that.

maybe that is what the plane was.....sure shook me up .....but I am easily shook up lately
