Why did DVC send me a DVD??????

I just recieved a DVD from DVC telling me I requested it.
We're not DVC members. Nor have we really considered it because of the economy. I'll admit I am signed up through WDW.com but I've never recieved any information in my e-mail about the DVC.
Any ideas???

Because they want you to buy! Just typical marketing, I'm sure!

Like the vast majority of companies out there when you sign up for something of theirs online you also agree to receive affiliate marketing materials. I suspect this is what has happened with the DVC DVD.

Unless you know someone that requested it for you. Often, as a DVC member we get incentives to "Share the Secret" with our friends and family and if one of them buys in...then we get a special from prize from Disney. Did not really pay much attention to this...since, why would my family or friends buy into DVC when they keep using mine?

When you signed up at Disney.com there is a box to uncheck if you do not want to receive info from other Disney partners.

Maybe it was the one i requested a month ago hehe as it hasn't arrived yet.
