Why can't some people keep a secret ?

My DH is horrible about keeping secrets I just recently found out he told our daughter about her surprise trip we took last year to WDW. He claims it was an "oops " kind of thing, and told DD not to let on that he spoiled the surprise. Now I find out that he may have ruined another surprise I'm planning a vow renewal ceremony for my best friend-her husband is in on the surprise, and has been planning it with me. I found out this morning that DH " might " ( his words ) have told my friend about the surprise- another " oops , you weren't supposed to find out " moment for him . I've never had a problem keeping a secret- to me, you just don't say anything you're not supposed to So...... are you good at keeping secrets, or do you "spill the beans "?

For the most part I am pretty good at keeping secrets. However, I can NOT for what ever reason keep anything from my DH. I try and I try and low and behold I tell him everything. Other secrets I am really good at, just as long as it doesn't include DH.

I hope he didn't ruin the suprise for your friend. That suprise is an incredible one

My MIL can not keep a secret at all, She tells the everybody! If you want someone to know something, just tell my MIL!

We must have the same MIL. I gave up on telling her anything a few years ago. She LOVES gossip and if she can twist a simple fact into something juicy, she will turn out a doozy.

Wow, that stinks..I hate when people ruin surprises!! Guess from now on you should just not let your husband in on any secrets in the future if he can't keep his mouth shut!

I can't keep a secret at all when it's about me. When I found out I was pregnant, I told everyone right away.

But if someone tells me a secret about themselves, then I will take it to the grave

I can't keep secrets about me. Like if I am going on vacation somewhere I tell everyone. I guess I just like to talk about me. I can keep secrets about other people though.

This is me exactly! If *I* am planning a surprise for someone, it is VERY hard for me to keep the secret. We were going to surprise our ds with our last trip to WDW, but I wound up telling him a month before...I just couldn't stand it!

However, I can keep anybody else's secrets, no problem. My friends and family know that they can tell me anything, and it won't go anywhere past me.

I found out that DH can keep a secret very well. He wasn't one for presents or even cards for things like birthdays, Vday, or our anniversary. I love him just the way he is & had gotten use to this. He gave me a shirt box full of cruise brochures for Christmas a few years ago. I kept asking him what my present was. When we went to a retirement party a few days later for one of the sups in his office everyone asked me what his surprise was. One girl had shown off a piece of jewelry that her DH gave her a little early & they told him that he needed to get me something like that. He just smiled & said that he had gotten me something even better.

Lance was teaching Maddie CPR. London sees them, well this is how it goes,

London- Esteban, Maddie and Lance are back together, I just saw them kissing in the staff lounge.

Esteban- Meriell, I heard that Maddie and Lance were pledging their love for each other in the staff lounge. In my country, we call it "plealing the grape".

Meriell- Cody, Lance and Maddie are getting married and moving to a grapevinard. But the whole thing's a gamble if you ask me.

Cody- Zack, Maddie and Lance are getting married and moving to Vegas to gamble.

Lance, to Maddie- I hear we're getting betroved-ed.
