Why Can't Parent's RSVP!

I find if you put in the RSVP section your number, e-mail address and regrets only you will get a better response. I think most people think that RSVP is for those NOT attending the party so if you say regrets only, those not coming will usually call.

My experience has been that if you MAIL the invitations, you will get a better response. When DD has gotten invitations at school, she has given them to me THE DAY BEFORE the party!!!!! :scared1:
"Oh yeah, here Mom, Sally's having a birthday party tomorrow, and I want to go!"
Then I'm the idiot who has to call the mom and tell her that DD would really like to attend the party, and is it too late to RSVP? :rolleyes1

I just pony up the extra expense for postage. That way I KNOW they got their invitation, and it's not floating around in a backpack or a desk somewhere, and the parents don't even know about the party.
