Please fill in the blank. I'm very annoyed this morning and it's always good to know I'm not alone.

Why can't my dh put the bread in the freezer without flipping it upside down or sideways or putting a heavy box on top of it???

Why can't my dh change a toilet paper roll???

Why can't my DH close a cabinet door?

Why can't my DW remember to turn on the range vent hood when she uses the oven in the summertime? She remembers all winter long (when we could use the waste heat from the oven) to turn on the fan, but cannot for the life of her remember to turn in on when the A/C is running.

And why can't my kids remember to turn off their computer. Or lights. Or anything else.

And why don't my children know where the waste basket in the kitchen is located. They finish a box of cereal and then leave the empty box on the counter in hopes that the "trash fairy" will discard it for them.

And what's up with the big pile of shoes in the family room? Argh!

Toilet paper....Yea! Yesterday, DH said the roller was empty. I handed him a new roll. Later in the day I went to the bathroom to find the new roll sitting on the floor!! Now WHY couldn't HE put it on????

...... turn his socks right side out so I dont' have to stick my hand into his smelly sock!!!

Please, don't get me started on my SO. Let's just say, no, you're definately NOT alone. {{hugs}}

LOL-ing at your post!

My kids are the same...a few nights ago I "introduced" them to the garbage can in their bathroom as they seemed to not know that it existed.

:( ....I am guilty of the toilet paper thing, I hate to put it on!

Vivienne aka "trash fairy"

mom to 3 gals

...put the empty milk carton in the trash rather than put it back in the fridge.

why can't my dh be...

...a democrat. :smooth: :p

Why can't my DH take the trash out when it is full? He seems content to continue piling more trash on top until it is a big mess to try to remove and tie the bag closed. But if I decide to take out the trash, he jumps up and says "Let me do that." Argh!

From my DH's perspective: Why can't my DW re-fill the ice trays? I see nothing wrong with putting half a tray back in the freezer. Note that I do NOT put empty trays back.

Also, I find it just as easy to use a "loose" roll of TP and rarely replace the one on the roller.

Why can't my DH understand that the proper way to do dishes involves a little more than a quick rinse under cold water and then stack them in the drainer?

Why can't my DH understand that when he throws in a load of laundry he should maybe add some household laundry as well. Does he think that the towels and sheets do themselves or that I am the only one capable in the house to do them? ( I do NOT want him touching my laundry though;) )

my DH is pretty good I can't think of anything

but my kids...the biggest thing is soda cans. They leave them everywhere and If I don't stock the fridge my self for cold one's they drink them warm  out of the carton.

I have to put them in the fridge, rinse them out and discard them in the bin bUT I NEVER DRINK THEM

DH and both DSs are guilty of the toilet paper thing. I believe that it requires some sort of special engineering degree that only I possess.

Ditto for the recycled cans. I'm the only one who does not drink soda in the house; I'm also the only one who takes the cans from the counter, and takes them to the recycle bin. Another special talent, thank you very much!

Muddy footprints....I have special x-ray vision to see them.

And my favorite...competing televisions. If one's too loud, let's turn up the rest of them...that's the ticket. One time DH and were at a beach resort for some adult time alone. The resort was hosting a wedding (complete witha band beneath our window), as the band played on the television got louder...and louder...and louder. I finally took all of the pillows, and read on the bathroom floor with the door closed lest my head explode.

Why can't my DH......rinse the HAIR down the drain after he's done with his shower!!!   Ditto on the toilet paper thing. I'm so glad I'm perfect...

This goes back a couple of years but it still bugs me......

Why cant my husband understand that contractions come every couple of minutes and that is why, every couple of minutes I needed my back rubbed.....

As for TP we keep it off the roll here.... too much fun for the girls to spin it all off:bounce:
