Why can't Mickey & Minnie pose together in a photograph???

I just got back from the world and on 10/23 we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's. My 4 yo DD was taking a picture with Minnie when Mickey walked by. My DH yelled out, Mickey get in the picture. All of a sudden Minnie freaked out and with her hands said no way. I then said why not, is this not permitted and she nodded yes. I then said why not and she just shrugged her shoulders.

Mickey just kept walking and ignored my husband.

Can anyone answer this question for me????

My children were photographed with both at Camp Mickey/Minnie at the AK.

At a Character meal it would take up too much time for the characters to pair up with each for all of the guests. They have to circulate quickly.

I agree with Lori it is probably a character meal rule. If they do it for your child, then 200 others want it. (And it was hard for Minnie to tell you this in sign language, asking a character without a voice a complicated question probably gets a shrug)

I agree with previous posters - I think it just has to do with this being at a busy character meal. All the characters are on a rotation & they can't easily jump out of it. We have gotten many pics with multiple characters outside of character meals.

We actually got a pic with Goofy, Chip & Pluto at Chef Mickey's on an extremely quiet September morning around 7:15 am. There were only about 8 tables in the restaurant total - the characters were all just standing around after they made the rounds.

I have to agree with the last response. I have pictures of them together so it cannot be not allowed totally. Just may have something to do with the meal situation.

She was just mad at him that day. Minnie must have asked Mickey if her dress made her look fat, and she must not have liked how he tried to dodge the question.

Thanks everyone for your responses. After reading all of the posts, it does make sense that if they did it for us, they would have to do it for everyone, and then there would not be enough time to rotate around the entire restaurant.

I do love the response that Minnie was mad at mickey, I think my dd will buy that one.

Minnie just hates when Mickey does that... someone needs to inform Mickey that he should just tell Minnie exactly what she wants to hear... that she is as beautiful as she was the day they met!
