Why can't I find M&M's?

Why can't I find the M&M tubes anymore? I've looked at Wal-Mart, Target, Wal-greens, RiteAid, CVS. Any ideas? If I can't find them... any suggestions on what I can use for pressed pennies??

I found them this week at the local party store, Factory Card Outlet and at a gas station in the candy aisle. They had both the small and large tubes.

Sam's Club has them (in bulk). Can you just use a 35mm film canister? Or would that be too short?

I was just at Toys r us today, and they had several boxes of the mini tubes. I got my large tubes at CVS-but by the cash register. That's strange you didn't find them at CVS. I have been to 4 different ones in my area just to get the specific colors by kids wanted, and they all had them. I also saw the mini tubes at Michaels up front by the register. All the ones I have seen were not in the candy aisles, but up front. I did see the small ones at Walmart but they were not at every register. I walked up several register aisles before I found the display.

Thaks for everyone's advice. I was scared that they had stopped making them all together. It's really my son's thing. He has to stop at every machine and make one everywhere we go. We've been saving coins for Disney for about a year now so that we will have enough, and now I can't find them I'm going to try some more places on my way home from work today!!!! Thanks again!

I hard a hard time finding them this year too, finally found them at Rite Aid.

AIRBORNE tubes work well too!

If you go to www.mms.com the m&m website, you can do a product locator search based on your zip code. After I looked at several stores in my area, with no luck, I finally went on the website, prepared to order them somehow, and found the locator. I typed in my zip code with a 10 mile radius and bam!...7 stores pulled up. Stopped at the closest store and they had plenty. It was a CVS and they were the large tubes...by the register.

I found mine at Michaels near the register. I went in for some fabric paint and when we got to the register my son kept asking for some candy. I said yes and he handed the tube to me. It was if he had read my mine

I found them this weekend at Sam's!!! I've got 24 tubes to eat!!!!

I think sometimes we must all be thinking the same thing. I couldn't find any tubes either and was starting to get worried. Then I saw this thread and told my husband to check at Toys R Us and bam! there they were. He came home with both the small and large tubes...BUT which do you all recommend??? It's really up to you. How much money do you want to spend? The large held alot more than I thought. I have 3 boys, so it adds up. I made them large ones for Disney and small ones for Universal. I just got done printing all of them tonight. I figure we go to Disney a couple times of year so they can graudually build up their collection. We are just starting their collection on this trip.
