Some have suggested buying 150 points at SSR at the $87/per point discount rate and then buying 120 more points as an add-on at the same $87 per point price and then also get 100 one time use points as the add-on incentive bonus. I was told when I called that I couldn't do this. They said that SSR is still in construction and my deed wouldn't actually be recorded until August (after the construction is finished and a certificate of occupancy is obtained) and I couldn't do the add-on until after my deed is recorded. At that time they said it would be past the July rate increase so my add-on would be more per point than the present $87 discount rate. I have seen others on the boards who have said they have done this deal successfully as recently as April 5th. Have I been given bogus information? Can anyone confirm one way or the other?
