Why can't I book in January '08?

Just got back and trying to see if we could swing a January trip (probably wishful thinking). The Disney website won't let me enter in dates for January - anyone know why?

Also does Disney do any promotions like free dining, free parkhopper in January?

It's because the 2008 room rates haven't been published yet. However, if you call them they will let you make a reservation, but you will have to agree to accept that the 2008 rates will be applied to your reservation when they come out.

As for deals, that's anyone's guess. But historically Disney hasn't targeted that time for major promotions.

Call them instead of trying to book on-line. You should have much better luck.

Actually, as far as discounts, for the past couple of years Disney has offered free Park Hopper and Water Parks & More options for the price of a base ticket. No free dining, though.
