Why can't DCL fix sewer smell on the Magic?

On our 5/17 cruise, we never smelled it in the room (deck 8). The only time I noticed it was when I was getting a massage.

What sewer smell? Our staterooms were fine: 6552, 6554, 6564 and 6632.

Geniedana...Are they midship cabins. Our friends were on our cruise on the same deck as us. We were by the aft elevators and had the smell they were midship with no problem. Just curious.

6552 & 6554 are starboard/outside just forward of the midships elevator and staircase. 6564 is starboard/outside just aft of the midships elevator. 6632 is starboard/outside just aft of the aft elevator and staircase.

Hint - there is a drain in the floor behind the head, and our cabin boy told us to keep it filled with water (as a vapor barrier). Ours always had water in them so we never needed to add any, but this could be a source of odor if it's dry.
