Why can I not cancel my dining reservation?

Has Disney changed their policy on cancelation where you have to call vs online or app or is the system just having a glitch? I'm trying to cancel a thanksgiving week reservation and it's not letting me....

I've had the app do that now and then. If you go to the actual website instead of the app, it should let you cancel.

Mine is doing it too. Tried to cancel this morning via the app.

OP we had the same issue using the app last week while at WDW. I just went through the website and did it that way.

Same thing is happening for me. Mine is for a Swan Hotel restaurant. Not able to do it on phone app or on the site. I assumed it was because it was for a non Dis place. Happy Camper - is yours a Disney place?

I am having issues on the website as well. I cancelled some reservations, it said they cancelled but they are still showing but with the spinning blue circle by them where the cancel link should be.

I had trouble with it the past couple of days. Just be sure to keep your emails from Dining in the event they don't actually cancel.

I had that happen last night and it was preventing me from booking something else for that time. I called today when it still wasn't gone from my MDE, and the rep was able to clear it for me. He had to ask his supervisor for assistance but got it fixed in just a few minutes.

Had exactly the same issue with 2 reservations. I was shunted to IT and they fixed them up. The system was so messed up last night at one point I had someone else's name against my park tickets. Took a screenshot but thankfully it had returned to normal when I got up this morning.

Are you all starting out by calling WDW DINE or a different number?

I called WDW DINE. They then switched me to IT. Didn't take long at all.
