Why break tradition?!?! October 2011 PTR update 10/22 We are home!!!

50's dress is always fun! I would go with a blue skirt, because blue is my favourite colour to wear hahaha.
I personally would stick with Kona (but my reasons are not valid, lol! I've just never been there.)

I like blue! I was debating on doing a red with polka dots, minnie-esk??? with a white shirt. What do you think? Actually that was one of the main reasons for picking there versus just eatting counter service at OKW lol

I do think, Dad and DH are going to do the tour. DH is itching to do it, but he's not going to do it without Dad, so I def think Dad will do it if he thinks DH wants to. I will def look at those apps thanks for the help!!

I cannot believe how close we are getting and how much things have changed over the last several weeks for our schedule. I definetly need to hunker down and make some ressies... any suggestions?!?! Mom has requested Coral Reef, Biergarten, and Crystal Palace. Where else should we go? I'm debating on Crystal Palace before MNSSHP, or should we just do CS before?

I think your meal at Kona before the party is good- i would just keep it. I've been wanting to try Kona for lunch or dinner. I hear great things about it! Plus, it's an easy monorail ride over to the party!

I'm trying to convience mom on Coral Reef and not biergarten. I like biergarten, but we eat there every time, and seriously... there are so many places in the world to eat lol Anywhoo... I would love to do somewhere at a resort TS or maybe a fantasmic package (are they worth it?)

On the planning front!!! I got the materials to make my poodle skirt yesterday. I will be sporting a pink polka dot skirt!!! I wanted to get red polka dot, but they didn't have any of the big dot, and I really wanted to go ahead and make it do I got pink.. I do love pink!!! Anywhoo... I also figured it wouldn't be the traditional Minnie, but they do have pink minnie costumes so it should suit just fine!! I want to order me a pair of the glasses like they wore then and find a pair of 50's esk shoes... any suggestions??

First of all... SUUUUPPPPEREEERRRRRR DDUUUUPPPPER EXCCCCIIIIITTTTTEEEEDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got a phone call at midnight last night, and my brother is on his way home finally WOOT WOOT

On to the planning front... so I have mad a change... I know I know gasp... another change... yeah right, like there hasn't been enough lol... I have decided to not do the poodle skirt for the simply fact I just realized we leave in less than 2 weeks!!!! Where has the time gone???? When I first started this, I didn't think it was ever going to get here, and I was starting to get discouraged about the planning part, and now it feels like it is coming to extreamly fast... anywhoo... We are now going to do just some tye-dyed mickey head shirts. Hopefully I can get them done tonight, and get pictures posted tomarrow of wednesday, so stay tuned!!!

I ordered our tickets for MNSSHP last night and we are booked for Tuesday Oct 18!! Dh and my dad are also going to be doing the Backstage magic tour on Oct 18th. I don't know which one is more excited. Since they are having a boys day, DM and I are going to have a girls day and have booked us for a late breakfast at 1900 GF. I am so excited as we have never eatten in GF, and I adore this resort most of all. I think besides that we are going to visit a couple resorts and meaner around DTD until time to get ready for the party. DH and dad will be joining us around party start time, but Mom and I will be there at 4pm SHARP!!! I have out schedule pretty much finalized, I will post when I get home, I don't have it with me right now, but in the mean time. What are somethings Mom and I can do on our non-park day to spice up visiting the resorts?

As promised here is my latest itenerary. As you have seen, it is very subject to change lol

Anywhooser...Here goes

Thursday Oct. 13th- Leave home when I get off work. Should be on the road by 6:30. We are hopeing to drive about 5 1/2 or 6 hours. Don't have a resie yet, but I think I might make one this week for the overnight stop.

Friday Oct. 14th- Up and back on the road. I would like to be back in the road by 10am. If we drive for 5 1/2 hours Thursday, that will give us about 6 hours Friday, so if we leave a 10am we should be at OKW about 4. I have made us a ressie for WCC for 6:40, but I think I may change it basically bc DH and Dad will be visiting there later in the week (details coming up) and I'm not sure that we will be up to all the hooting and hollering after sitting the car that long. We shall see I'm thinkin EOS sounds DEVINE!!!

Saturday Oct 15- I had debated on making this a park day or not. I'm still not 100% certain. We are getting the military 4day+PH tickets. We noramlly do 5 and I think that is why I am having such a hard time deciding on this. I can't decide if I want to go to a park on Saturday and not monday which would make us miss MK EMH since we are doing MNSSHP. What do ya'll think?? I have made us a ressie for BOMA at 6:55. If we do a park it will most likely be AK since they are in the green for that day. I have made the resie for friends of ours to join us who live in Orlando. I think Boma looks delicious!! Have any of you ever eatten there? What did you think?


So what do ya'll think so far. Questions?? COmments?? Suggestions?? I am all ears!!! I have never done this much detailed planning before, so I am excited to try it out, but I am scared I am going to fail miserably also. Please please please give me any and all comments. They are most welcome!!!

I would find it hard not to go to a park on Saturday. AK is a good choice. I would just avoid Epcot. We are heading to Epcot when we arrive on the 15th just because we want to eat there for lunch. I'm a little scared though reading how crowded it is on Saturdays during Food & Wine.

I was thinking the SAME EXACT THING!!!! DH favorite park is AK so he would be definetly be for it, but alas last night when we were talking about park days, I was vetoed DH says we cannot mist MK EMH bc that's the only time we can ride Space Mtn 10 times in a hour. Can you tell what is favorite ride is? So I guess we will be visiting DTD and maybe a couple resorts on Saturday instead.

Well folks we are home from our nothing went as planned trip But a blast was had by all!!! Although all my planning was tossed into the river on Tuesday, it was still such a FANTASTIC trip!!! I am hopeing to start a TR but until then, enjoy the rest of your weekend!!! Oh BTW... DH admitted he enjoys going every 2 years and thinks we should go back in 2013!!! WOOP WOOP for DH to ask for a trip to disney made the trip!!!!
