What is so special about Bonnett Creek, it seems a lot people like this place? I am looking to stay off site in May and just curious what this place has to offer?

It's priced as an offsite condo but the property is surrounded on 3 sides by Disney property so it's probably the closest off site place to stay. Also has a very 'resort' feel to it: nice pools, lazy river, playgrounds, etc Very nice decor and spacious on the inside.
Practically on-site at off-site prices, five star resort (Grand Floridian only gets four), and lazy rivers. I still can't believe none of the Disney resorts have a true lazy river.
There are lots of nice resorts in Orlando, but Bonnet Creek has the advantage of the closest loccation and it is very new. Wyndham properties also tend to come up more often as owner rentals because of the way they are set up.
Bonnet Creek is not a 5 star resort (maybe they rated themselves 5*). You would never compare a timeshare condo resort with a resort like the GF. The Waldorf Astoria hotel in the Bonnet Creek development is highly rated, I don't think it's earned 5*, but it's probably better then the GF. Posters on DIS talking about Bonnet Creek are renting timeshare/condo accommodations.
