Why aren't my smilies working??

I rebooted my computer thinking was that but I can't get them to post in my replies. They are moving in that box over there ------->. I can't bold or underline words either. Any ideas??

Do you have scripts blocked?

I have a program on my browser that automatically blocks scripts. I always have to tell it to allow this page in order to get the smileys to work.

Good question! I'm on Firefox and I have a program called "NoScripts" - a little blue S in the corner of the window indicates whether it's blocking scripts or not and I can click on it.

But I think you could start by checking your Security settings in whatever browser you're using. Or - try using a different browser, if you have more than one on your computer.

I use Firefox too. I tried the adblock plus thing and there were some scripts blocked on that but that didn't help. Thanks for trying. They have always worked in the past, this is a new thing today.
