We are checking into Pop on 1/13/24 and leaving on 1/19/24 with a package with meal plan. I was considering adding a day to our trip or changing to Art of Animation. We have only stayed at Pop before and love it but thought a change would be nice. When I tried to find any rooms even at the moderate resorts I keep keep the no rooms available reply. The only thing that was showing were the very expensive Deluxe resorts. This time frame is after Run Disney.

I see AoA Suits for your specific dates. You are overlapping the end of the Race weekend, some guests stay an extrad day or 2, and into the Martin Luther King holiday weekend.

I did see the suites but too expensive for my budget. Thanks though.

Most of the rooms at AoA are suites, there's only one building with regular rooms.

Disney value resorts often fill many months in advance. You may wish trying to book in smaller groups of dates. I’ve found calling sometimes is easier as they can check various combinations of dates and locations but not guaranteed this close to your dates.

To add a date you may need to be willing to change resorts. I’ve been successful doing this in the past when my booked resort was full.

Conferences are going on at that time till mid February. My wife has a conference there at that time and they offered discounts to hotels in the area near her conference.

So yeah, that time of year is a lot of conferences but not necessarily people going to parks. I am meeting her there when she is done. She has one every three years.

So yeah, conferences are a big one.

Cheer competitions. Large groups stay Value and Moderate.
Agree,College Cheerleading and Dance Championship will be at all 3 All-Stars January 17-19(some coming in a day or 2 early and some staying a day or so after).

Also,The 15s have started coming back more and more each January/February post-Covid.

This past July saw The 15s back to almost pre-Covid July levels so this coming January/February will likely see the same thing.

I would highly recommend you call WDW and talk to a person who might be able to help you out. I am confident that they will be able to assist you better than just checking what is available on line, they can sometimes "pull some strings" to accommodate a reasonable request.

Conferences are mainly at CSR, GF, BC/YC and BW, real small conferences are also available at other resorts but they will not take up a lot of rooms. Also, the conferences that I have went to, only offered discounts at the resort that the conference is at and not any other resorts. I have another conference in April, but it's offsite at the Gaylord this year :( but they do offer WDW ticket discounts.
